Ordering on the internet for ready made e-juice certainly has gotten expensive just lately. It seems that the shipping costs have just about tripled to get the juice to your door from an on-line vendor.

I have a couple of questions maybe some of you folks that understand the system can answer:

1. I understand that USPS, UPS and FedEx cannot ship vape related materials (to include ready-made juice) anymore to US residential addresses ... Well, when you order juice now, who is providing the shipping and delivering it to the door ?

2. As I mentioned above, it seems like the shipping cost has pretty much tripled ... is that because some shipper other than USPS, UPS or FedEx is charging triple what USPS, UPS and FedEx used to charge for shipping ?

Note: It was not very long ago that I ordered and had delivered to my house (here in Florida) a 1 liter bottle of 100mg unflavored nicotine base. I didn't have to sign for it and it was delivered right to my mailbox by USPS.

I am very confused as to all of this ... Can anyone here tell me how ready-made juice is now being shipped once I pay triple shipping charges to some on-line vape company ?

Thanks ...

Some do what they're not supposed to & ship via one of those carriers. For UPS & FedEx, it's not illegal, just against their official policies. The vendors are supposed to comply w/some new reporting requirements, which adds to their cost, regardless of shipper. An adult signature is required upon delivery. That's a fee.
Most legit vendors are using a private delivery service. It's more expensive.

Keep looking around. Some still ship for under 4.00, or at a shipping charge that increases commensurately with the size box required.

I sampled Velvet Vapors shipping at 3.97 for a 39.00 order. It went up to between 4.00 and 5.00 for more items.

PerfectVape is flat rate shipping 10.00. They use X Delivery. Depending on how much you order, I feel that can be considered reasonable in an anti-vaping environment, and with inflation running amok.

ECBlend, free shipping for orders 130.00 or more.

A new one (new to me anyway) I tried recently, Freedom Smoke USA, is 8.25 shipping regardless of the size of your order.

MyVaporStore banners "Free shipping 7.00+" on their site. I'm not sure what that means since I find it a challenge to discover any liquids I'd want there. Some are max 6mg, some max 3mg, though I saw a couple offered at 36 mg. or 60 mg. which can be used to mix down with plain pg and/or vg to your preferred nic level. Anyway they have a million flavors I don't want. They're good for serious DIY equipment though.

The ones I stick with and always mention in the forum, are the ones that let you choose your nic level and your pg/vg ratio. Some of them will offer outsourced brands that are limited to 6 mg and just one pg/vg ratio, but their own house brands let you select according to your preferences.

I guess the answer is to order a lot at once. Honestly my fridge has more vape stuff than food in it because I do tend to order a lot at once, to keep shipping costs down.

I have experienced that some of the sellers will ship as usual to their past customers, without extra cost or rigmarole. It's the new customer they have to be wary of, who might be spying to see if they are compliant.

So I am also in Florida and things are still moving along there are certain items that seem to be interpreted as being exemptions e-juice would not be one of them I'm sure. Some may be playing around with the non-tobacco nicotine stuff thinking that that may be exempt or something of the like. Because of it being an open forum I'm not going to go into greater detail but I guess I would just say that shipping has been fairly good for me here in Florida. There are extra charges you know signature fees (sometimes) and I have had one delivery from Blue streak delivery service I was rather impressed with. For the last couple years I haven't really shopped at Element and the like preferring my Florida companies mainly because I'm inpatient as heck lol. Nothing against those other companies but especially with the shipping stuff going on I don't want to wait 25 days for something to arrive that would have arrived in 5 days previously It will drive me crazy and I feel like there's way too much room for error. So I just stick with the companies that I know and that apparently also know me

Can agree with this. My couple transactions with a Florida company were very unsatisfactory (they even shut their phones down). Element Vape, on the other hand, gets my shipment within a few days after preparation, even with free shipping. Proximity is the key here. Prices may differ, but paying a little extra to alleviate stress is worth it IMO.

As to the TFN type stuff, I am not impressed with the liquids shipped with that nicotine. They remain clear, and looks like they used the old recipe for tobacco nicotine in the synthetic nicotine (which is more expense, so let's modify that a bit, and less potent per mg). Its why I went into DIY, besides we never know when our (collective) state(s) will ban this and that.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Florida companies. But I primarily only use light fire distribution and then a e-juice company that's local to me.
I dislike element in fact my second purchase of products related to vaping online in my entire life was through element and it was still to this day the worst experience I've ever had purchasing anything. The mod started auto firing and flipping out on the 28th day that I had it which was a Sunday. I immediately messaged them via email with a video. They told me on Wednesday when they got back to me that it was past the warranty. And we fought back and forth for 2 weeks. With me even sending them a picture of a calendar and me counting out the days And a reminder that 28 days is less than 30 days and they just were not getting it. Like either I was talking to the stupidest human being on Earth or they were playing game hoping I would just go away. Before I decided to complain to the better business bureau and threaten a credit card chargeback they sent me a message that basically stated that They were counting the days that it took for them to get back to me rather than the day that I messaged them that the product was faulty. So basically all they would ever have to do to avoid their warranty guarantees is to not get back to the customer until after 30 days had gone by lol I'm sure it was just a group of stupid individuals but it's soured me to that company. And now with their estimate of shipping time being 25 days. I almost exclusively use Florida companies I've had nothing but the best experiences

Yeah, it is that shipment time frame. Vapor FI (haven't tried lighthouse, don't know if they deliver to my state), originally stated 3 to 8 business days for shipping. I placed my second order 11/30.

They shut their phones down around 12/10 (too many phone calls). Email support was also up to a week delay (and I used it). They didn't fulfill my First order until the day before my second order (these were the only orders I had made online since I began vaping again towards end of November, saw them mentioned on a you tube video). The orders were over 2 weeks apart, but shipped out the same time. One was to my address, the other to a pudo point address.

The first order was very delayed. At the 30 day mark (since they go by date of charge), bank recommended dispute. I lucked out on the order by standing outside (smoking) when the guy tried to deliver (we live in gated community with codes). The last mile carriers were the problem. I had provided delivery instructions to Vapor Fi, and called to verify they were delivered to the carriers (no delivery instructions were needed for the Pudo Point delivery). While they were answering phones, I was provided the information that they gave the instructions to the carriers. This was not the case.

The carrier from FL to Seattle was We Ship Express. Since VaporFi weren't answering phones, (and I tried the stores, whom got in contact with their superiors, all stores are franchises, not really connected with the company) I called We Ship Express. They were upset that vaporfi shut down their phones (no one could call, including franchises, they need to email), and confirmed they had no delivery instructions. I gave them delivery instructions.

In the meantime, the codes were changed for my building. Around 12/21 was when I put in the dispute for the first order, to my address (ordered 11/22). I found out the last mile carrier problem from the pudo point guy. he said they were using Uber and Door Dash drivers, so they didn't know what they were doing. I was told they would leave notice and how to contact them if they missed me When I stood outside smoking, saw this guy trying to get in with package. He left, no ticket on door, no call to my phone. Also, there were never any out for delivery notifications, they quit around 12/18. My account was marked failed delivery attempt. I called to the driver, he said my name for delivery, at first didn't believe me. I gave him address. He had me sign, but never show ID (I didn't carry ID). They made a new entry, deliver by 12/24/2024 (several weeks after order, because I called and volunteered I had received the order, and that their juice sucked, voluntary).

The Pudo Point delivery was in January. I called the Canadian company running Pudo point directly, and left message about the complaint from the owner of the shop receiving Pudo point deliveries. After making stink, it got there. The device in my second order was malfunctioning. They had closed my account, due to trustpilot comments, and claiming I did a chargeback on the wrong order. I brought up this was not in their terms and conditions, so they simply just do what they want. Direct Vapor is also the same company. it took a long time to get an RMA. and I decided on refund, which they said they would do. I never sent the item back, using it for only one type of POD.

With phones shut down, promised made and not fulfilled, bad customer service (they lie, always saying we have world class service), I would never order from them again. Another company was just dead in the water, and there was a chargeback, I won, Eight Vape. I thought because they were closer, it would be better. Someone found a package in the end of January, torn open, with my name on it. It was in the lobby of my building, don't know what was going on. Don't know if they closed my account, Eight Vapes.

In all circumstances, I was given the wrong expected delivery times, it was my fault for not dealing with the delivery times, they shut down phones, gave bad information, products were faulty. I will never deal with these companies again (they kept sending spam emails), if my life depended on it.

I have had no problems with Element Vape. I am surprised. Their carrier goes from start to finish in the western states. Not so much for the east coast (need a last mile carrier). Route Insurance has gone up (big time), so they must have had to pay some claims. But my Pudo Point delivery is expected today, and I will pick up package next week. My order was Wednesday night. I use them for prices lower than my vape shop (taking shipping and extra costs into consideration) and parts I can't get from my local vape store.

I will not order juice online, we have a 9 cent tax per ml (100ml is then $9, don't get into 1 liter). Interesting is that the taxes and reporting is due on the 15th after the shipments. Wonder if VaporFi ever gave the taxes to WA state, and the reporting, since the delivery was way past the reporting time.

Good grief. You went through it! And as you said in that last part whether or not they ever gave the taxes to the state that's a major thing that I'm questioning. I think that we're going to find a lot of these places are in violation with the IRS pretty soon. In Florida we don't have any additional vapor related taxes apart from regular sales tax and the couple times that I have just checked out a cart without going all the way through you know just to see what the price would be just for taxes alone states were asking for a significant amount above what our tax for sales rates are here. Now it could have been a scenario that had I gone through with it they would have refined that and only billed the right amount But I never found out because I'm not going to let you all charge me $10 for tax when I know for a fact Florida does not have vape taxes and I'm only spending $30. Now the shipping and the signature fee and all that I get that that's what you're supposed to do but I know the tax rate and when you mess with that as a company you're messing with bigger dogs than the consumer.

Interesting add on to previous rant, element Vape has the business license required to do business in WA State (for ENDS and Vapor Products), Vaporfi does not.
