BASED on my 9 point system (you can find below at the end of this post) I believe this helpful guide is the most comprehensive and detailed to helping you the consumer get that
perfect E-cigarette.
So please read this, and most importantly read the "bottomline" section of and the details above to help me out with some questions and to verify if everything is correct. I
appreciate it. And if you see something that should be on the don't buy list that is found on the maybe buy list, please let me know, and why.
Thank you.

_______________________________________________________________
Don't buy list, and reasons why:
smokingeverywhere.com would be it, but with the bad user review you guys have I had to cross it off the buy list.

E-Cartridges & Liquid - E-CigaretteSales.com
(starter kit USD$ 59.95)
(looks like a real cigarette)
(they show nothing special about their liquid fill cigarettes.)
They host smokingeverywhere video?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
smoke51
(I thought these guys were perfect because they look real, and each cartridge is worth 2 packs.)But from the bad stuff that was mentioned in this forum I guess these guys are
now officially crossed off.) I just got word from tropical bob that these won't satisfy me, just frustrate me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
NUCIG | Advanced Pro | Electronic Cigarette | Electric Cigarette | eCig | e cig | Quit Smoking | Stop Smoking
(these guys look like real cigarettes, but are a now crossed off because each cartridge is an embarrassing 6 cigarettes).
(when the competition is 1 or two packs per cartridge it's a shame these guys use the same claim everyone does saying they are top of the line.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Premium E-cigs, E-cartridges and E-supplies. US-made, assembled in Canada.
(This one aswell, each cartridge is worth only 6 to 7 cigarettes, unacceptable!)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TheSmokeSafe.com - The #1 Source For E-Cigs, Parts, Accessories and Supplies!
(only their yetti style looks like the real thing to fool smokers)
(they are out of everything in their stock)
(they do not say how many packs a cartridge is worth)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ruyan Jazz
(Is the worst I've seen, It's NOT rechargable, and awful prices, they charge you for a cigarette that claims to only produce 4 to five packs for 24.00) What a ripp off!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
m401
Ultra Cartridges (5-Pack)
(recommended by the moderator of the forum.) but each ultra cartridge is only worth 5-7 real cigarettes! CROSSED OFF.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
intelligent cigarette is great but second best compared to the DSE-901 said apostle51
So crossed off.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

E-CIGARETTES
(these guys have realistic looking like the real thing real cigarettes, infact their cigarettes look great!)
(with these prices I'm probably willing to use the bottle instead of cartridges, but they don't say how long each drop is worth in packs or cigarettes.)
(However they do admit that parts from the real 901 would be able to be used with their 901, which scares me away, and I get the idea that they have the ability to use
cartridges, but yet they don't give a cartridge ratio on any of the vast amount of products they sell, which also bothers me. I have emailed them, and they will continue to
remain on the do not buy list as long as it takes for them to email me back.)

Premo edition starter kit
(starter kit USD$ 79.99)Yikes!
(looks like a real cigarette)
(even their own video shows bad vapor production!)
(each cartridge is worth 1 pack, and costs USD$2.50 per cartridge, so in other words 2.50 a pack!)
(not many flavors, strawberry, pineapple, energy drink, cigarette, menthol)
(16mg nicotine option)
I probably despite the lack of chocolate and cherry flavors, would have chosen to keep this one if their own video said otherwise.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mini 901B
Electronic Cigarette : ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE | Online Electronic Cigarette Superstore | Anycigarette.com
(starter kit USD$39.95)
(Sell 901 real looking cigarettes!)
(sell cheap cartridges in bulk!)
(50 cartridges for USD$ 34.95)
(only has m/boro and mint flavors)Yuck!
(Ratio 1 cartridge= 10 cigarettes.)
Bottom line: for a top of the line product, only 2.00 for a pack. But I have no idea how it works vapor production wise.
(someone in forum added this to the reviews under a bad review. So they are kicked off) The user who did this was cekte, I highly respect his advise.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
GreenCig G300
(starter kit USD$ 149.00)Yikes
(looks like a real cigarette)
cartomizer last around 350-400 puffs, equal to 1.5 to 2 packages
(cartomizers are 10 for 49.99 so 5.00 for 25 cigarettes) Yikes!
(cartomizers aka cartridges with atomizers)
(have several flavors, chocolate, cherry, apple, orange, ect.)
(unfortunitaly I can't find even on their own site what the vapor production looks like!)
Bottomline:
Great idea using cartomizers but horrible customer service, and no video on vapor production shown
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
smoothsmoking.com
(starter kit USD$ 59.99)
(5 cartridges for $4.99)
Bottomline:
(Major red flag! Even on their own video shows little to no vapor production!)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bloog
(starter kit is USD$ 99.99) Yikes!
(2.50 a pack ratio) $9.99 per each 4 cartridges
(Looks like a real cigarette)
(has many delicious flavors)
(site says each cartridge is worth 15-20 cigarettes)
(they have a 16mg nicotine option)
(currently no review of vapor)
(30 day refund policy)
Bottom line/summary:
2.50 a pack, changable cartridges, but no review of smoke production that I could find. Also user review says that there is a burning sensation of bad taste.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Crown 7, gamucciu (or whatever their called) liberty, intellicigs.com, logicig.com (same people from intellicigs.com) Johnson Creek, Smokenotar, epuffer, njoy, euro-ecig

__________________________________________________________________
Buy list and why:
Note:These are in order from best to worst, starting with the best at the top.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
KR808D-1
(starter kit USD$ 54.50)
http://www.vaporoptions.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ZEUSCartMar
(they are cartomizers)
(highest cartimizers are 16mg)
(Ratio 1 cartimizer=25 cigarettes)
(cost only 11.00 for 5! So basically close to 2.25 per each 25 cigarettes.)
(Looks like a REAL cigarette)
(not many flavors for disposable cartomizers)
Bottomline: Not many flavors, no pictures to base what their product looks like of this model, based on the only youtube video I could find the vapor production sucks, good
ratio with price on cartimizers. Also can use liquid if you want!
However based on the videos that I could find it has low vapor production.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
jantyusa.com
Dura-C
(starter kit is USD$58.95)
(recommended by tropical bob)
(5 cartridges for USD$ 5.00)
(has 16mg nicotine option per cartridge)
(cartridge has flavors)
(Ratio 1 cartridge same as 10 cigarettes)
Bottom line:
2.50 a pack,
When I asked if his cartridges were also catomizers, aka cartridges that are also disposable atomizers like red dragon and others, he acted like he never heard of such a thing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Frequently Asked Questions
(starter kit USD$ 69.99)
(Looks like a real cigarette)
(site says cartridges last 2 packs)
(few good flavors)
(16mg nicotine option)
(ratio equals less then 1.50 a pack!)
(each cartridge has a new atomizer!)
Bottomline: They seem to good to be true, can anyone comment about these guys?) Vapor production needs to be reviewed. If there was a proper vapor production review and if these
guys passed, they would have been at the top of the list!
_____________________________________________________________
Undecided list and why:
Cartridges - Default Store View
(they have a new atomizer with every new cartridge, they use cartridges instead of bottles, they have flavors, but the bad news, each cartridge is only worth 1 pack, and is
valued at USD$3.00. So basically your paying 3 dollars for a pack. not too bad I guess.)Update: Each cartridge is the same as 12 cigarettes one reviewer said, and tropical bob
(forum said in a reply to me that this brand is one of frustrating ones to deal with). I keep hearing mixed reviews, saying good and bad, it's hard to say. Plus complaints
regarding 3 second cut off time.

Just notes.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...83-chris-sean-review-joye-510-a-new-post.html
In this thread someone mentions that the 510 and 901 have the same vapor output.
------------------------------
What I need from you guys is to tell me 4 things only. ( I know were almost done though I promise)
1: Is there anything that is not correct in any of these reviewed products? Like is the site lieing, do their cartridges really not last the ratio of 25 real cigaretts? Is the
vapor bad? Give your own opinion about the cartridge life span and the vapor production on the list of buys.
2: Which site out of the list of buys is best in vapor?
3: How much can be saved with using liquid even with the prices mentioned where it was a ratio of 1 pack of cigarettes for 1.25.
4: And lastly if you know of a product that can meet and BEAT any of the products I have on my buy list, please let me know.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MY list of buys and don't buys is listed in what I feel is every last detail that you would need to make a list from.
I'm talking about these 9 points.
Review of E-Cigarettes.
I made this review because I mainly want to focus on finding which e-cigarette comes with these 9 points:
1: Is cheap in cartridges ratio. How many cigarettes is each cartridge giving?
2: Major in smoke. It's density, color, (basically which ever has the most smoke). I'm a chimeny smoker.
3: Looks like a REAL cigarette, I can't tell you how much I am sick of these cigars, pens, pipes, ect. The whole point of me smoking one these is so that I can get the feeling
of smoking the real thing, (Even the ones that look real, seem to long in size when matched with the real thing).
4: Has flavors, I love the idea of enjoying cherry, chocolate, tobacco, ect.
5: Has high Nicotine. Atleast 16mg.
6: Has what I'm looking for in a cartridge, (to be honest I would rather not purchase an E-cig where I have to load the liquid in anyway into the cartridge, I want one of those
real looking e-cigs where I just purchase the cartridges and switch them when they need new ones.
7: Again the cartridge but this time in regards to puffs. I want a cartridge that lasts most in puffs, and packs or cartons. Back to that ratio thing again.
8: And if possible it would be cool if there was an e-cig that would send blank (blank meaning just water vapor, without nicotine or anything else) at the lit end (in this case,
led light end) of these things, so that it really would look like a real cigarette.
9: Because there seems to be trouble with these things called atomizer if possible to meet the first 9 requirements and to have the type of cartridges that have new atomizer
with them.

I've compiled this list at my own expense of hours to help out in anyway that I can. I have a low attention span which is good because that means I get right to the point, and
I'm an extremely picky and cheap person which is also good cause it means I am thorough. I personally have no money, and was just laid off while making this list. Therefore even
though I can not purchase an E-cig at this time, I hope that this list helps all of you out there that can, and perhaps if it has been helpful for you, one of you who has to
much money lying around might be generous enough to offer to purchase me an e-cig from the list, (with liquid or cartridges) as a birthday present to me since I got nothing this
year. Either way, Enjoy. And if I do get an E-cig someday, I'll show you all a simple to the point yet detailed review.
Sincerely, chain smoker at heart.

Just the fact that I'm willing to go through so much trouble as shown in this thread is proof to the contrary of what you just said.

And to back it up,
E-cigarettes have no tar,
no real smoke, only vapor,
and they are a great alternative to smoking. And therefore they are for every smoker out there. And because I am a smoker, they are for me.

Besides my buy list is so huge, I think that also proves it. If my buy list was small like one or two products then maybe you would have a point, but because there is only one of me, and several more on the buy list, but I was willing to allow the list to be more then just one product shows that not only is vaping right for me, but also that there are several ways for me to vap. So many that I had to make a list just to organize it.

As I'm pretty new to vaping (2 months) and reading everything I could on this forum for 3 months, IMHO, the best vapor producer I've seen in a video is the screwdriver.... you will go through a lot more juice from what I understand, but the more vapor the more juice you would use I would think?!?!

And eastmall having that WONDERFUL sale on e-liquid right now, I think that's the best price you are going to get including the free bottles they are giving with the orders. Granted this is not an all the time thing, so you have to grab the sale's when they show themselves! ;)

Every individual is different in how they vape. To state a good e-cigarette is "unacceptable" because you've heard that it's only equivalent to 6-7 cigarettes is foolish. I don't think there are any e-cigs out there that realistically equal 20 cigarettes. There are many other variables that lead me to choosing one model over the other. To most of the more hard core vaporers I think looks is probably the least important aspect. You seem to have that listed pretty high. Personally, the least it looks like a real cigarette the better in my opinion. With all due respect I do appreciate the efforts but this not "the most comprehensive and detailed guide."

I don't know where exactly manufactures come up with how many cigs compare to a cart, but with most e-cig models, a cart will last 6 cigs max, if that. This is why you buy juice! If you want to vape happily, and waste as little money as possible. Reuse carts, and refill them with juice. You will occasionally have to restuff them with filler and you'll probably want a syringe. On the go, I find myself topping off my carts usually after every 20 puffs, just a few drops to the top of the filler.

Penstyles have really big carts that will hold a lot of liquid, so they'll last longer, but still not for the length of a pack of cigs.

In a perfect world, every cart would equal a pack of cigs, but this just ain't true.

From what I've seen, the smaller e-cigs that look more like a cigarette have smaller batteries and smaller atomizers, what this means, is battery life is very poor. They produce little amounts of vapor, and you'll quickly be eying some of the larger models. For me, I don't care how big it is, I just want something that produces great vapor, flavor, and throat hits on a constant basis. For me, that model is the 510 Dura-C. But I'm also getting a Puresmoker Prodigy. I also own but never use anymore, a DSE901 and this other model called The Great White, forgot the model number.

If you want something low maintenance, check out the vapor king. The Cartomizers are reusable and also because they're cartomizers, they're pretty cheap, cheaper than the $10 to $15 atomizers, which will last a month. I'm thinking of buying a vapor king myself.

(only their yetti style looks like the real thing to fool smokers)
(they are out of everything in their stock)
(they do not say how many packs a cartridge is worth)

All suppliers in the US are hit differently, I wouldn't cross out thesmokesafe because they, like many others, become out of stock.
The goal of every e-cig is NOT to look like a real cig, that's your own criteria, doesn't make the Yeti/510 inferior, instead it's one of the most popular out today :-/

Cartridge capacities are overrated by the majority of sites. Better suppliers will tell you, at best, it's perhaps 3-7 smokes or so, depending on the model and cart size. Others don't mention cart length, but it's eays enough to find out - suppliers don't make their own carts...Yet you also were griping over the M401 as well...smaller ('more realistic') e-cigs generally have smaller carts, thus less juice.

Most models are simple rebrands of a handful of models coming from China.

The 510 has more than 'one flavor of cartridge'...

hate to say this mate, but your list has quite a few errors :(

for starters, an e-cig cart lasts on average for about 4 - 5 cigarettes. ignore and avoid any supplier who says that their e-cig carts will last for the equivelant of a pack or 2 of cigarettes........they are lying!

then you have the joye510 in the dont buy section.......plus you have it in the do buy section! lol (the dura IS the joye 510)
you have done the same thing with the 901 too (in dont buy section plus in do buy section!)
and again with the M401!!! the mini v4 IS a M401!

    i could go on.........

i think that what you have tried to do is excellant and with the right info could be very beneficial to forum members........especially newbies to e-cigs.
however, (and i mean this in the nicest possible way) i really think you need to get a little more experience before trying to do something like this.

the main thing to research is the model numbers and how to recognise them, as hundreds of suppliers sell EXACTLY the same e-cig but just rebranded under a different name.

i also would not put an e-cig on the dont buy list just becase one person gave it a bad review or told you they didnt like it. in the same way, i would also not put an e-cig on the do buy list just because one person gave it a good review or told you they did like it!

for every e-cig on the market there are probably 20 reviews on it in the reviews section of this forum alone. watch and read as many reviews on the same e-cig to get the majority verdict and then decide in what catagory to put it.
watch the reviews from the experienced guys, BUT ALSO watch the reviews from the guys who are new to vaping.........every opinion counts.

sorry if i sound like im knocking your idea.........its really not the case. im just giving you my honest opinion mate.

    cheers,

    scott

    What to expect from cartridges.

This is a general guide using information mainly from Cashmere, Ratindahat and Leaford on what to expect from a cartridge:

Super Minis (RN4081, RN4088, DSE103, etc...): About 1-3 cigs worth (20-30 puffs) They hold around 0.3ml of eliquid.

Mini (DSE901, etc...): 5-6 cigs worth (50-75 puffs depending on how you puff) They hold around 0.5ml of eliquid.

Penstyle/classic (DSE801, RN4072, etc...): 7-10 cigs worth (up to about 100 puffs) They hold around 1ml of eliquid.

eCigar: 10-12 cigs worth (up to about 120-130 puffs) They hold around 1.2ml of eliquid.

ePipe (DSE601, etc...) At least 14-15 cigs worth.

Disposable atomizers (LTv9 or clones): one pack (100-300 puffs)

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-comprehensive-intro-vaping.html#post138671

Apparently the disposable atomiser devices produce a lot of vapour and they last longer than other cartridges - up to a pack in some cases.

    sure, no worries!

    1. i dont have the time to go thru every review but as i said, if they say the carts last for a pack or 2 of cigarettes then dont trust them!

    2. dura c, yeti, titan, joye 510 etc etc (all the same e-cig)

    3. lots of dosh to be saved!

well i think there is roughly 0.5ml to a cart and 1 cart holds around 8 drops of juice. therefore in theory 1ml equals 16 drops. 16 multiplied by 30 is 480.

so roughly, a 30ml bottle of juice would have around 480 drops of juice.

going on the basis that 2 drops is the equivelant of one regular cigarette that would mean that a 30ml bottle of juice would give you around 240 cigarettes worth of vaping!

    therefore, 240 divided by 3 = 80 drops of juice to a 10ml bottle
    80 drops divided 8 (8 drops per cart) = 10

so in summary a 10ml bottle should in theory fill 10 carts.

    4. im sure a lot of guys would like to see the screwdriver added to that list

    cheers,

It's pretty hard for me to answer these,
-I don't watch many reviews....If there is something incorrect in them I don't know
-From what I have seen, the kr808 is great for vapour, they're not too expensive for replaceable cart-omizers. that one and the Janty dura/joye 510 get a lot of attention.
-buying refill liquid is a lot less expensive than new carts all the time. Exact dollar amounts....I don't know. I don't really bother with the math. I do e-cigs because I was tired of smoking, but still want nicotine.
-high battery capacity custom e-cigs like the Screwdriver or Prodigy would definitley beat standard e-cigs for performance, but they're not cigarette sized at all. Way bigger, I don't think that's what you were looking for

That's all I can add really.

1: Is there anything that is not correct in any of these reviewed products? Like is the site lieing, do their cartridges really not last the ratio of 25 real cigaretts? Is the
vapor bad? Give your own opinion about the cartridge life span and the vapor production on the list of buys.

I respect your advise, and don't worry no hard feelings, criticism is of all kind is welcome infact is even wanted.

But I am suprised that you said that the 510 produces the most vapor when in comparison to the v4 in the video of you. I've looked at all videos on the entire forum and on youtube and no one seems to blow out as much vapor as you did on that v4. Not even in your other videos. It just seemed that the v4 gave out the most vapor. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also I was hoping that you would pick the vapor king above the 510 because it does seem to give out more life in cartridges. And the vapor king is a cartomizer not just a cartridge, and can also be refilled with liquid. So if the 510 produces much more then the vapor king then I guess I have a few things to consider.

Wait a minute? fill in the blank are you saying that the vaporking and the 510 are the same model?

Alright this is nuts. You know what we should do.................We should make a list of each model and all other names associated with it. So that people who are in my shoes and are new to E-smoking don't have to go through this crap and evaluate the same model over and over again and just to find out later on that they have already evaluated it because it's the same model but under a different name.

So let's do that real quick.

No.. Iget said the Yeti, 510, Dura-C and Titan are all the same models, which they are. The Vapor King is a separate entity, entirely different from the above listed. The VK is a disposable cartomizer, where the others are reusable atomizers.

What that means (and I'm not trying to insinuate any lack of intelligence on your part, you merely stated your noobie status) is that the cartomizer types are intended to keep you buying more cartridges to sustain your use, and the reusable atomizer types intend you to buy e-liquid to sustain your use.

I won't try to make a recommendation for you to buy this or that from whoever... we all had to do our own research and come to our own conclusions what we wanted to invest in, but I will say that you need to do more research, watch the videos more closely, and read A LOT of threads.

I will recommend, however, for the instructional/review videos, Ritalee76, Igetcha, and Leaford are the ones I seemed to pick up more knowledge from than the others. Rita is, in particular, very informative about the general all-around knowledge about filling carts, mixing liquids, and so on.

So if the 510 produces much more then the vapor king then I guess I have a few things to consider.

why does EVERYONE spell my name wrong!!! lol

ive not actually reviewed the mini v4 version of the M401 so i assume you mean the demo video i done for minicigarette.net?

for me personally, the TITAN (joye510) is easily the best vapour producing e-cig that i have used so far. ive not tried the vapor king yet (dont worry, its not the same model! lol) so i cant really compare the 2.

take another look at my TITAN review and skip to 3:46 and then 4:49 to see its great vapour:-
