Cold weather?

So I vape on my way to work and it is fabulous. Leave the ecig in my car when I get there. Temps are around 4-28 degrees here.

When I pick it up on my lunch, it gurgles and shoots juice into my mouth. I don't appreciate this.

I leave the thing standing upright in a cup holder when I leave it in the car. It is a bottom coil bcc mega tank and a ego battery.

Cold weather? Don't store it that way? What's causing this? If I go home and clean it out it works great.

Major temperature changes will change the way the liquid vapes. Air pressure and altitude can change it as well. The tanks are not vacuum sealed to allow for airflow. I've noticed that when I go to my GF's house(she lives on a massive hill) I have to play with my VV to get it to work like it does at my house. Best thing I can advised would be to store them in a more stable environment when they are not being used.

Cold weather = bad for ejuice

There are several reasons why, but the most obvious should be that the liquid has to be heated to a certain level before it converts to a vapor, and if the liquid is really cold that heating takes longer, which means less vapor. It can also cause the liquid to coagulate and become really thick and syrup-like, or even develop clumps. It can also cause separation of the ingredients in certain cases.

Most of the gurgle you experience may be because the tube in the tank (and the entire ecig) is cold and the heated vapor is condensing on the inside of the tube abd running back down toward the coil. I've found that when it happens to me I can twist up the corner of a paper towel small enough the fit down the tube and soak up quite a bit of moisture with a twinge of nic. Once I do that I'm good for at least a day.

It's not coming from the coil itself. You can see it on the inside of a clear drip tip if your tank accepts after market drip tips.
