The Cloupor Mini has had some problems with the first run, namely the mod burning up/catching fire/melting etc due to some faults. While the issue has reportedly been somewhat cleared up, I personally would just avoid it as there are so many other options that HAVEN'T had those kind of issues. Below is a list of similar powered mods in similar price ranges.

sigelei Mini 30w
istick 30w
MVP 30w
Kanger KBox 40w
iStick 50w
sigelei 50w V2

Build a 0.5ohms coil, set the mini to 30watts and fire until it cuts out (15 secs I believe)
If the screen doesn't come up with a too hot message, the unit is supposedly good to go.

But I would still keep a close eye on it for a couple of days. The units that failed supposedly died within the first few days, and NOT because the user was firing at 30watts. I would call it spontaneous cloupor mini combustion. ;)

Most importantly, take out the battery when you go to bed.

As long as you build within what your battery and device can handle it will be safe. But you don't need to sub-ohm to get great flavor or vapor. When you build, just make sure to test and retest to be sure you don't have any shorts or problems, and to make sure your resistance is where you want it to be.

I had 3 Cloupor 30w mini and all 3 the screens went to sleep and never woke up this was in a less than 6 month span when the screen went to sleep on the 3rd unit I took it to the range and used it to zero in my new scope for my 308 rifle. You couldn't offer me a free Cloupor product. If you have one that works you got lucky but if it should fail as I imagine it will buy a Sigelei. I have never had a single problem with my Sigelei box mods performance. I swear by them if you want reasonably priced quality made box mod Sigelei is the way to go.

I have to agree with Foggy, if your Cloupor ends up crapping out on you, go for a Sigelei :)

I was wondering if anyone else has experience a fire button (switch) problem. I have had it for a couple of months now and it has been in hard everyday use. There is no audible or tactile click anymore. It fires but sometime resets since I think multiple pressing is turning the unit off.
