I have never used either but from what I hear, the CE4 will last a couple of weeks depending on how much you vape and the type of eliquid you are using. Dark colored and sweet flavors will gunk up a coil much faster than light colored eliquid. The CE4 is basically a disposable clearomizer. You cannot replace the coil.

The CE5 uses a different type of coil which can be cleaned and dry burned to extend its life. When it no longer preforms well, you just replace the coil (not the whole tank).

My worst with a CE4 was about 5 or 6 hours. No joke....

In the UK, the only "wickless" CE5 that came on the market was a non-starter from day one.

HOWEVER, Since then, a few clearomizers called CE5 have proved to be quite good. Certainly, and clearomizer that includes a replaceable head is better value.

I wonder if any of the good folk on the forum ever used rebuildable CE4s (Vision V3, that sort)... they were quite good.

Then, along came the EVOD.... :) They were good and bad, mostly good...

Every one knows a CE4...pretty much disposable, short use clearos. After that the numbers get pretty confusing. During the last couple of years there were CE4+, CE5...all the way up to CE8 as I remember. Most of these were some variation of the original CE4 but with replaceable heads. Every vendor had there own version and there own number to put with the CE part, so it got pretty confusing.

Today the CE series (other than the CE4) has kind of faded away and seldom mentioned in polite company.

So to answer your question, the CE4 will last a week or so (more or less) and can be cleaned, flushed and dry burned to some extent. I've actually managed to keep them working for a few weeks with lighter juices.
