I purchased both because I figured round tips would be more cigarette like and my Firelight e-cig was round tipped. But when I got the BB and added the flat-tip I was hooked. I don't know why I spent money on those round ones. I guess I'll have them for back up. Anyone notice any distinct difference between the two or is it just a choice based on what feels better to you?

Never tried the round tips. I use flat tips on my RN-4075, and have done so since I first started using it. So while I cant compare the two, I can agree with your being hooked on the flats. I like taking a break from the "cigarette" feel of my other e-cigs and being able to hold it in my teeth like a mini cigar... no doubt...

Whistle for me all the way, when I ordered the kit it came with 5 round and 2 whistle (on the attys with no poly) I figured I would try the whistle tips on day 3 and removed the poly from a round one. Now I can keep this sucker in my mouth and play FPS (first person shooters) at my computer! It also helps me to feel which end im smoking in low light environment. I dunno how many times now I have tried to smoke out of the LED with the round tips.
I much prefer the flat-tips too, as I had a tendency to bite down on the end of an analog. I think the flat-tips are just more comfortable. My husband uses the round ones, and says he likes them just fine.
Round tips for me... Not sure why, just feels more natural to me than my penstyle

The round tips are good if you ever get tired of lining up the flat tip so it's in the right position for pushing the button. Otherwise, I really like the flat tips. But now...my only tip is the brass tip that Super-T makes for dripping. Now I'm in vaping heaven!

Mostly yes, but:
The round tip carts can be gutted and used as a mouthpiece for direct dripping (extras cost essentially zero, and they are readily available). The whistle-tips can't.

Also, I just realized that sounds like "gutted carp". Maybe we should come up with a better name. It's so obvious, I'm sure someone has thought of it before. I wonder if they ever bothered to give it a name?

Flat tips, I can't stand the round ones just don't feel right to me.I like being able to bite and go hands free and its hard with round ones. I just wish they would make flat tip cartomizers. They are out there just haven't seen anyone selling them yet.

I like the flat tips better, they are easier to inhale. I wish they sold the cartomizers with the whistletip!
