can vaping make a room smell as well?

I thought vaping doesn't cause any smells after the vapor vanishes. I've been smoking this tobacco flavored juice (before that, it was all fruit flavored) and I think it leaves a lingering smell in the room. So far, I'm still not sure if it is due to the vaping, but I'm curious to ask anyway.

So if you vape a lot in a small room, can it leave a lingering smell for hours?

BTW, tobacco flavored juice doesn't really have any tobacco ingrediants right? I know there are tobacco alkaloid juices that contain tobacco ingrediants, but regular tobacco flavored juice are flavored using artificial flavors right?

I drove to pick up my kids at the bus stop and vaped HHV's Vanilla Dream in the car on the way. When I met my friend, another parent, at the bus stop, she remarked that she loved my vanilla perfume. I don't think it lingers long in a room, but it can hang around on a coat or whatnot. And Maya, I've had that same request from my kids after vaping Dragon's Leaf from EC Blends. Several people have remarked that it has a waffle syrup-like quality to it!

Oh yes! I had a terrific private, lockable office until my recent retirement. I vaped constantly in there. And clients very frequently said, "Your office always smalls so good!", "Smells like you've been baking something yummy in here!" and so on, depending on the flavor of the day. I clued many of them in and converted some. Way fun.
SO much nicer than the polite recoil from the ashtray that I must have once smelled like.

As it has been said, it all depends on the juice. I have two different types of Blueberry. Both from the same company. One tastes slightly different. I visit my family a lot and, when I smoke one of these Blueberries, my mother smells nothing. If I vape the other Blueberry she says the whole house stinks. Its all relative.

P.S. According to my research, the only ingredients that are in both cigarettes and eCigs are nicotine and water.

I was vaping my favorite tobacco juice at my father's house on Thanksgiving. Whole family was there... including my stepfather. Now... My Two Dads get along swimmingly. Never a bad bone between them.

Anyway... after dinner I'm sitting next to my dad on the couch vaping said juice. Very relaxed and comfortable. Suddenly my dad says... "Is that 'homeless guy' smell coming from you?" Of course I sniff my pits, and do the crotch waft... "No Dad, not me?" He sniffs the air again.... "Yeah... it's your vapor." Then his eyes get real big and he leans into me and sorta whispers "I thought it was Dave." (My step dad.) "I was trying to find a nice way to bring up his odor! Thank goodness it's not him!"

So yeah.. some juices do leave a scent. I never noticed said 'homeless guy" odor from that juice myself... but I don't vape it in company anymore! And yeah... it's still my favorite!

I have never had vapor odor linger for "hours", but I did have to quit vaping one particular juice at work because one of my colleagues remarked that it smelled "like the subways in Paris".

That wasn't a compliment :(

I think my son has that same juice. I call it Eau de Chat. lol

Not trying to be snarky here, and with all do respect.
Please refer to a vape or vaped not icky smoke. I know its the whole thing of learning a new lingo. But we do want to keep any words having to do with the analogs out of anything to do with vaping.

Exactly what everyone else here has said. It all depends on the specific juice that you are vaping. My SO hates a few of my favorites (she doesn't vape) and won't let me vape them in the house or car. Others she can't smell and yet some others she loves the smell of and asks me to vape those inside.
