I would say they can probably smell it. I think alot of it depends on your equipment. I use to use a Riva and the smell was very minimal, now I use a VV box mod and people at my work say they can smell it in the bathroom an hour after I am in there sneaking a vape. The nice thing is if the flavor is fruity then they might mistake it for air freshener ;)

Only been vaping seriously 1 month now. I steal a vape every once in a while at work. Is my boss going to be able to smell it? In the restroom? In my office?

Maybe not so much in the restroom, but I would imagine in a closed in space like an office or a cubicle. The smell tends to only linger for a while. My mom told me that I smelled like Cheesecake once. (I had been vaping a cheesecake flavor.)

BTW where do I get unflavored juice? Do I have to DIY?

I get mine from my freedom smokes. the lowest mg they sell is 24, but you can just dilute it with pg/vg if that nic is too high for you...people in the diy section can tell you how, or contact the vendor for that info

a lot of juices smell good , like candles etc so i guess to people they just pass like a perfume or random smell if they cant see the vapor but theres juices like the "555" that are really strong (bwb 555 have a strong smell) but like i say most of the time it will just pass as random smell if they cant see the vapor :)

Just curious...is vaping expressly prohibited where you work? Even in the bathroom? If not, why are you concerned about whether someone can smell it? It isn't illegal, and a lot of people even vape at work (although generally wise to keep it discreet...I don't blow huge clouds on people when I'm at my desk.) Or are you embarassed about it?

Thanks for asking tinaj.
I guess I need to go to vapaholics anonymous haha. No one where I work appears to smoke cigarettes. Everyone sorta healthy lifestyles. For the past 10 years I have been a closet smoker. People who discover me smoking are always shocked. I am now a closet vaper. I guess this is just MY problem that I will have to deal with huh? In the meantime I am "Smoking in the Boy's Room" as the old song goes.

Gotcha! That makes sense. I was a closet smoker for many, many years. When my coworkers found me out (all health freaks too) they were happy to see me vaping instead of smoking :)
