Hello, I just purchased a black wrinkle Reo mini and am now looking for a Reo Grand based on an article on Reo Grands with sub-ohm kits.

Questions:
1) I love the black wrinkle Reo mini, but was thinking about getting a copper vein Grand. I was wondering if it is as easy to hold as the black wrinkle and how is the wear on it?

2) I have the reomizer 2.0 and was wondering if there is any rba that is better for sub-ohming? I read the chalice is not as good as the reomizer. Is the reomizer as good at regular ohm's as it is with sub ohm's? Am I wrong about the Chalice?

3) Are the new Reo Grands pre-installed with the sub-ohm hardware?

4) Anybody have an ETA on the Reo Grand upgrade kits?

Thanks for all your help Reonauts!:)

The Black Wrinkle is one of the best finishes for feel IMHO. The copper Vein might be a little slipperier if you hands were wet. You should clear coat the copper vein to keep it from getting darker, they are very sweet looking.

2) I have the reomizer 2.0 and was wondering if there is any rba that is better for sub-ohming? I read the chalice is not as good as the reomizer. Is the reomizer as good at regular ohm's as it is with sub ohm's? Am I wrong about the Chalice?

Depends on your definition of sub ohm, .8 is very different from .3 ohms. I vape a Chalice at .9 without a problem but I could see the heat from a low sub ohm coil heating the tiny chamber quickly. In reality the rba needs to balance the coil to the airflow, so a smaller chamber needs a bigger air hole.

Good RBAs for the Reo are RM2, Igo-S, Chalice, Divo, Cyclone. These all fit a standard Grand. If you go with a LP, Low Profile, Grand then you could also use any of the bigger chambers like a Cyclone with AFC of any other RBA modded or made for BF.

3) Are the new Reo Grands pre-installed with the sub-ohm hardware?

Not yet, He will put a clear notice on the Grand page when they are

4) Anybody have an ETA on the Reo Grand upgrade kits?

firing pins are in hope to see springs arrive next week, so soon, fingers crossed

Thanks for all your help Reonauts!:)

See answers in read above, What do you currently vape for a coil?

Thanks alot for the information thus far. I am currently at 1.0 ohm. I was kinda nervous about breaking things. I got the replacement kit for my mini, but don't really know how to install it yet. I see a little bar thingy in it and am assuming that is for upgrading a sub coil for my mini. Do you know if I am wrong in that assumption? What is the sub ohm sweet spot for you all? Sorry all the noob questions, but I sure appreciate the help :D

The "sweet spot" for sub ohms is very different for everyone, I used to vape at 0.3 to 0.5 regularly until I got my reo and rm2. Haven't gone lower than 0.9 since. I guess I'll be the one to bring safety into this, when you're new be very careful and I would stay at 1 ohm+ for a little while until you really understand everything going on. Do you have an ohm meter? Batteries than can handle the load of going so low with your coils? All things to consider along with the juice you're using. Keep in mind different juices behave differently at different heat levels. Good luck and happy vaping :)
