Been laying 30's and 30S's on their sides for months without a problem. Not saying you won't because the design of the wicks could allow juice into the air channel but it's not likely unless you have it really full and/or there is a rapid change in air pressure (ie rolling down a window in a car that causes your ears to pop).

Just pulled a regular 30 out of my vape box that has been laying on its side for a few weeks about 3/4 full of juice, no juice in the air channel.

I guess I have been lucky the only 2 toppers I have ever had leak for me when laying down were the original ego-C tank system that I started with and my AGA-T2s.

The C Tank system was famous for leaking for any number of reasons and the ATA-T2s it is by design really and systemic to gennys for the most part.

Every time I've laid my iClear 30 on it's side it winds up gurgling and leaking. It's the only reason I don't use it a lot. Hmm.... Maybe I'm not screwing something down hard enough?
There's a possibility that if the top cap isn't on tight enough that it could not make a good seal thereby allowing juice into the air passage. Then there's the possibility of it being the juice itself which may wick better and/or being thinner allowing it to pass around the notches where the wicks go into the coils. I use mostly a 50/50 blend that is pretty thick. I get everything from my local B&M and they mix it right there in the store so I can't compare to any other juices.

By design alone they stand a better chance of flooding when laid on their sides.

The center tube is off center in both my iClear 16's and my iClear 30, so there's a definate way for the liquid to get out the top. No matter how many times I take them apart and put them back together, they go off center again. I still use them the most though, because I love the taste I get out of them. I have a pocket in my purse that kind of stands them all upright when not in use, so I've even been commuting with them without a problem. Only time it is a problem is when I put my device down too fast and I don't have time to make sure it's standing up, which usually only happens when my 2 yr old is trying to climb to the top of the refridgerator or something. I have an MVP 2 now, so this has been a non issue lately. That one stands up quite easily.

And as much as I like Innokin products and more specifically the Iclear 30's that seems to be normal. I have a brand new Iclear 30S and the head is off-centered in it and no amount of tinkering will center it.

I'm getting better at keeping them standing because I have started using my RSST without the fill plug and laying on its side results in a juicy mess :)
