OK, so I just started vaping and I'm keen on DIY. One of my favorite cigarettes ever was Camel Izmir Stingers. It was part of a series Camel ran a while back. They were special flavors, all packaged in tins. Other flavors included champagne, "Back Street Bourbon," Crema (smooth vanilla), some strange orange-mint flavor (that somehow sounds better now), and a few others I just cannot remember. They had to stop selling them because of the whole "cigarettes can't taste too good because kids are stupid parentless beings that the government has to monitor or else they will smoke" thing. That was a sad day. I don't know what all the flavors were in it, but it was a kind of sweet flavor like cherry or maybe strawberry. The description on the inside of the tin was something along the lines of "Complements your favorite highball or shot."

So, I don't suppose anyone else remembers them, or (less likely) has stumbled onto a flavor combo that tastes very similar.

EDIT - I just looked online for other people who liked them to see if they had identified the flavors better than I had. A handful of people all say that the flavor was like raspberry. There was one person who said they tasted like pop tarts...I'll concede raspberry, but not pop tart.

Here's a wild-azz guess at a starting point:

5% FA Camtel Ultimate
4% Ethyl Maltol
6% PA Raspberry
4% PA Huckleberry
1% PA Clove

--and maybe a hint of menthol for "brightness"... seems to help bring out fruit flavors. I just add a few drops of Halo Truepure juice for this.

The Camtel will take a while to reach full flavor. Seems like all the tobacco flavorings do. You could cheat it by using some Camel flavor premixed juice as a base.
