Hi, i'll be travelling to the US from the Philippines (Philippines->Japan->USA connecting flights)
to visit my family for a couple of months. I just wanted to ask if its okay if i could bring my vape gear such as my Evic Vtc Mini + Velocity v2 + Lg choco(with battery case) + Single Battery Charger + 4 bottles of 30ml e-liquid on my carry on luggage?

some of my friends told me the Airport won't allow it and some of my friends told me the Airport will allow it as long as its in my carry on luggage. I'm confused and I'm starting to have doubts if i should bring it. But I really need my vape. I'm 21

If you are using Philippine airlines they have a limit on the quantity that you can carry - the last time I flew with them it was 6. They also did not say anything, but they were very curious of the volume of juice I was carrying. I told them my trip was 3 months and I was carrying enough for that length of time. If you are traveling Korean airlines - no problem at all, but they did have a limit on batteries also. Do not know about Japan airlines.

so its safe to say i can only bring 0mg e liquids when passing through japan connecting flights? need help :(
I think your mod and battery should be fine and go through with no problems. I can have that stuff shipped via air to Canada, and the US is fairly similar in what you can put on a plane. As for e-liquid fill your tank at home (I think you can probably take your mod on the plane as carry on, but you can't use it on the plane), buy a 10ml bottle of juice and expect maybe you can take it or maybe you will lose it to customs or airport security, either way, its only a small amount, but buy your e-juice after you land at your destination. I don't think ejuice with nicotine is allowed on airplanes, but they might let a 10ml bottle slip by if it is opened. (or they might not.. but its only 10ml, so screw em) Your best bet, is to go to the various customs web sites and search for e-juice. That will tell you what you can bring into each country. OH.. and make sure you take your batteries out of the mod. You see in the news all the time, some terrorist waving an e-cig on a plane, screaming "Death to everybody" or "Reroute the plane.. I have a cigalike, and I'm not afraid to use it". Ok actually, they are paranoid about the battery exploding in the mod, so just take it out and you will probably have no problem. Figuring they allow lap tops, and video recorders.. and the batteries in those are similar to e-cig batteries. (Do not use those batteries in your e-cig.. similar is NOT "the same")

Why don't you put the eliquids in your checked baggage. Japan considers nicotine in eliquid medicine and Japan only wants you to carry what you need for your flight in your carry on luggage. Qty exceeding that should be in your checked baggage.

I was planning to just empty my RDA and just put some fresh cotton in it and put it in my Bag with my Evic Vtc. I'm not bringing my laptop and camera though :( I was not planning to use it during my travel, i just wanna bring it and just use it when i get to the US. A shop owner told me that i should just put my e liquid on a platic ZipLock but not really sure about the nicotine thing :/

Go to the Japan airlines website and you will see what their rules are. I read my suggestion on a travel site, but did not link it because it was not an official site.

Also they suggested you call the airlines you are traveling with because they have the answers. I travel through the Philippines and Korea annually, but do not use Japan so my advice is limited.

I mean, the same cells (18650) are inside the laptop battery pack. These are no good for vaping though, so don't. So I figure if they allow laptops etc.. single batteries might not be a problem

I don't know if this matters, but airports in Asia tend to be pretty lax on smoking, i.e. they almost all have smoking sections. Maybe they won't hassle you about vape either. But that is the airport and security, not the airlines, and airlines have their own rules sometimes.

I've never traveled with vaping stuff. I transited in Shanghai pretty recently, and Chinese security was intense, and I transited in Japan a few years ago and had to go through security also, but it didn't seem strict. There is probably a chance they won't ask you about it at all, and there is probably also a chance they'll toss all of your gear and juice. I had a flight from NAIA in Manila a few years ago. They had three, yes, three security checkpoints - one at the door, once after check-in, and one at the gate. After the 2nd one, in the secure area of the airport, I bought a 50 or 100 ml bottle of hand sanitizer, and they tossed it at the gate. You might not get through the 3rd checkpoint with any kind of liquid at all, but I don't know what the rules are. Maybe the airport has info on their website.
