Does anyone else get minor scratches or abrasions on their mods' 510 pins from attaching tanks? I just got my ProVari 3 and, like the rest of them, it has a scratched ring around the 510. I guess I should expect this being as steel is harder than brass, I'm just a perfectionist I guess. I also wonder if the kayfun is worse than other tanks by virtue of its screw. Don't want to give up rebuilding though, I'm also on the wait list for a Squape. Thanks for any help.!

Sounds like maybe what you are screwing onto your P3 might have a Burr or Sharp Edge on it.

Before I attach anything New to any of my APV's, I like to run my finger around the Battery Connector. Once in awhile it will have a Sharp Edge on it. So I give it a Couple of Light passes with some 400 Sandpaper to Ease the Edges.
