I am new to Vaping and bought an EVOD 2 starter kit by KangerTech. From my understanding I got a really nice kit for first timers, so far I love it! With a nearby Vape shop, I think I may have to try every flavor they stock.

Would like any feedback on my purchase of the EVOD 2.

Welcome!

It's what it is, a starter kit. It's good to begin with. However, the next step will be a VV/VW device, 'cause it will help to find the sweet spot for getting a better flavor and vapor.

Out of my experience, go for a good quality VV/VW device next. Utilizing a rechargeable Battery, that you can take out for recharging. It's also cheaper to get a replacement for those batteries. Depending on your experience and needs, upgrade to better Clearomizers (tanks) as well.

I started with cigalikes, upgraded to a cheap VV device, and bottom coil Clearomizers. However, as good as the VV device was, it didn't work more than a year. That's when I got my ProVari and Kanger Protanks 2 & 3. Meanwhile, I got the optional airflow control for all of them, 'cause I prefer an airy draw. Now, there's the Kanger Aerotank (I don't have). For my Protank 2, I'm rebuilding the coils my self most of the time. Nowadays, I utilize Kayfuns, a Russian 91%, and RDAs. I just like tinkering, whether it's with my rebuildables, or my R/C Helicopters.

I'm not a veteran nor a newbie vaper but I still vape on Evods and love them. The protank mini's work great on them. I have two protanks that sit on 1000 mah bats and the minis are on 650's. They look great in stainless. The coils are easily rebuildable. A good choice by you imo, and should last you a long time. I'm not much on Chinese products but I have to say Kanger is an exception.

Hello Vaded, I too am new to vaping. A couple friends at work were doing it and I got tired of the high prices of analogs (not to mention the health hazards, smell, headaches, etc.) So I went to my local B&M (Vaporesscense in Pearland, TX) and picked up an ego mod and tank. That was in Nov 2013 and since then I have upgraded to the Provari and the Russian 91 RTA. I have a couple RDAs but haven't messed with them too much. Rebuilding coils is fun and frustrating. I just started DIY mixing and that is where the fun is. Good luck in your endeavors. BTW, look into mixing your own, the local B&M charges $18.00 for a 30ml bottle, i can make my own for as little as $1.50 for 30ml. Doing this will allow me to save up for a mechanical mod?
