It's a diy mix, I mix by volume. I have about a dozen diy flavors, mostly tobacco.
a diy mix? or a flavor concentrate? if the latter, from who? I use RF SC Bourbon and have a number of recipes in my calc that I have found or dreamed up to try but most have not been tried yet other than soul custardy.

Bill's Magic Vapor has a few recipes throughout his Blog that require TFA Vanilla Bourbon. Maybe you could use your KB and some Vanilla as a substitute for it in those?

Here's a link to his Blog:

vanilla bourbon actually has nothing to do with the drink bourbon fwiw.

Vanilla is one of the most important flavors in baking and we use both vanilla beans and vanilla extract in our recipes. When you see vanilla in the store, you probably notice that there are quite a few types of vanilla available. Sometimes, you’ll simply see plain old vanilla, but there is also Tahitian, Mexican and Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla is the most common, as Madagascar produces most of the world’s supply of vanilla, and it is often written simply as “Bourbon Vanilla.”

Although vanilla extract is made up of at least 35% alcohol by volume, the “bourbon” in “Bourbon Vanilla” is not the name of the alcohol used to make it. Bourbon vanilla is the name for all vanilla grown in Madagascar and other islands in the Indian Ocean, including Comoros and Réunion. Réunion was formerly known as the Île Bourbon, and it is the name of that island that gave Bourbon Vanilla its name. Bourbon vanilla beans come from the orchid V. planifolia. Bourbon vanilla beans have a high vanillin content and a very strong, clear and creamy vanilla flavor that is instantly resognizable and a great addition to any recipe.

Thanks for the heads up! Even at my age, I still learn something new every day!
Still wondering why they call it Vanilla Bourbon though, instead of Bourbon Vanilla like all that info above refers to it.

Maybe I'll have to try just a little Vanilla flavoring with my JD then and see if I can come up with a "real" Vanilla Bourbon! If that works, then maybe some Vanilla flavoring in OSDIY's One Stop Blend "Tennessee Whiskey" (like JD), would work, too, for an eliquid! :D

I bought that flavor before I knew as well. Still trying to use it all up. It is really dark and has to be used in low percentages. Real Flavors SC Bourbon is a really good bourbon that can be used at extremely low percentages with custards, creams, etc. I currently have a mix of the RF VG Flavors: Apple Pie and Aged Bourbon Cream that turned out quite nice.

It appears this is another victim of "reformulation." I was only able to find this on TFA's website:

Wizard Labs is offering both; so I poached the original TFA description from there:

To me; TFA's Vanilla bourbon smells nearly identical to my culinary vanilla extract. Somewhere, I have read a description, that described it as "closest to vanilla extracts used for cooking." I put that to the test one morning when I was making waffles and ran out of my McCormick's Vanilla Extract. I subbed the TFA Vanilla Bourbon at 1:1 in the waffle recipe and it worked beautifully; other than it was about twice as strong.

I don't even have any TFA Vanilla Bourbon myself. I just mentioned it in my initial post because it was in 2 of Bill's recipes, and I mistakenly thought it was literally...a Vanilla Bourbon flavor. Thought maybe the OP could use his KB and some Vanilla to make it work in them. No harm, no foul though, so all's well.
