I had that same issue first time I tried to remove mine. Pliers and never tighten that hard again!

.......!!!!

Dont have a pic on me, but Im sure you guys know which part Im talking about (whats that part called?)

Guess I will have to buy a pair of needle nose

as for backups, that means a backup of the evic control head if I cant get this off?
Not backups for your backups of your backups...aka SPARES when things go kaput or kablooey on you...this way you can keep vaping

The part you are talking about is the 510 thread connector...that teeny screw thingy that snaps off or sticks if you tighten it too tight

Only way to get it out is to have something either you can grab it with or wedge into it and unscrew it WITHOUT damaging the threads on the inside of the battery head

Not like it isn't a semi-common occurrence ;)

Thanks guys,

I think I tightened so hard because for whatever reason I kept trying these coils and it kept reading atomizer not found, I tried tightening loosening this and that until it worked... took a while!

Then now that I want to change tanks I cant get this thing off arrghhhhh... ok will buy plyers
Wait the whole bottom is on there...and it's too tight to take off by hand?

OOOOOOH, I'm afraid you might have cross threaded it and might have boogied up your 510 connection.

Grab a towel or your shirt (something to give you extra "traction" and try to unscrew, gently)...I am afraid bad bad things just happened

I believe you did exactly what I did. I was able to unacrew everything but it took a bit of cloth (for traction and to not damage the threaded base) and some pliers.

The the atomizer is not being recognized because the coil wasn't screwed properly into the threaded base therefore not making contact with the battery when assembled.

The threaded base was screwed on too tight and may have gotten cross threaded, thus difficult to remove.

Give it some elbow grease, gently untwist, and reassembly carefully (snug but not locktite).

Good luck!
