Blinking blue light on ego-t while charging please help new all this

Hello I am new to the vaping world and want to use this to try and quit smoking but am having a problem. I bought a ego-t 1100 kit with two batteries and two clear atomizers from a local gas station to get started. I have been using one regulary and works fine but the battery died and I went to the next battery used it all day while charging the other one and after using it decided to charge it up so it would be ready for back up if needed. The problem I am having is when I plug it into the charger that came with it usb and wall charger the red light kinda fades in and out and the blue light on my battery continuously blinks and won't stop. Could someone please tell me what this means does it mean it doesn't really need to charge or is it gonna blow up on me. I use my vape a lot and figured it needs to be charged at least 8 hours a day but not really sure why the blue light keeps blinking while I am trying to charge it. I have turned it off and back on thinking this would help but nope still blinking continuously when i plug it into the charger. Please help I don't want to be with out it cause I don't want to go back to smoking analogs.

Make sure that the battery is off before you plug it in.

So I have to turn the battery off then plug it in? I didn't have to do that with my other battery that is the same type I just plugged it in and it started charging.

don't know.

1. maybe the charger is faulty
2. maybe there is a short on the battery - center pin
3. maybe liquid got down inside the battery

I have experienced 1&2 myself, and I believe but of course cannot prove #3.

Try cleaning the contacts on both the battery and the charger. If that doesn't change anything I would exchange the kit with the battery that is acting flaky. It shouldn't be doing that and it's not a good idea to try and second guess eGo type batteries when something is acting wrong.
