Better electronics for Mod Boxes?

Hey guys so I've bought like 10+ mod boxes from MadVapes, their VV mods, 3.7 mods, the gripper mods, ect ect. ALL of them end up dieing electronically, so my question is...

I want to build my OWN mod box, with quick change parts.. maybe using screw terminals to connect them (since I hate soldering and want a quick way to change out parts - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8084). What are the best electronic parts that I can buy to reduce the number of burnouts/problems?

Basically.. if I buy.. Variable Volt Box Mod Kit ... what parts should I replace to make sure it lasts a lifetime? Any better sources I should look at for building my own modbox? Also I don't normally like working with wood, but I can't find anything larger then a 3AA box to build my mod with, anyone know of a 6AA box? I know 4's exist.

Thanks all :)

Four solder points and you have a VV mod with meter.

Does not run as hot as the MV NCP630A which i also use , I bought this a while back on ebay with on board meter and finally got it together there still around by looking up LM2596 and has the screw connectors , the only solder was the tactile switch if you buy the 510 connector pre-wired.
MV 4AA battery box with one battery section removed and board sanded down a hair and it fits nice and tight no glue needed.
