I have been vaping for almost 6 months now, mainly on my G6. Great experience in all I have to say! Yet, after all this time, my the connector on my USB charger is starting to get a little funky and resonated. I try to clean my battery connections to make sure they are clean, but still, over all this time, both are not 100%. I get that resonated taste from my batteries slightly, could really tell when I opened up a brand new battery last week, and I can see some gunk on the threads of the USB connector as well. the G6 threads are easier to clean since they are male oriented, but with the USB chager, since they are female, it is much harder to get something in there and clean them. I do not want to put it in water or other liquid without knowing if it will hinder the inside of the charger. So How, or what is the best way to clean off the gunk on my G6 USB charger?

soak a q-tip in +90% rubbing alcohol, rub it in and around the contacts lightly and evenly. Push it to hard, and all the rubbing alcohol will just gush out in the one spot. Just keep running in circles around the thread, letting the gunk slowly soak up the alcohol.

Then after doing this for a bit, go at the threads with either a tiny bottle brush or an old tooth brush. Using a paper towel you thread into the female connector every so often to soak up and remove the residue as you go along. If you your stuff is too gunked you need to repeat this process a few times.

Will try this. For the alcohol, where would I be able to purchase the type that you mentioned?

Rubbing Alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, can be found at any drug store and most grocery stores. It comes in ranges from 70 to 99% pure. While you can use the lower strength stuff, I would recommend getting 90% or higher, it will be far more effective and require far less elbow grease.

It can normally be found in the area of the store that First Aid supplies are sold, near the Hydrogen Peroxide and Iodine.
