Hi, I am relatively new to DIY liquid making. I recently picked up a bottle of VG nic liquid and a few flavor concentrates from a local vape shop and now I am hooked. I have been all over the web finding calculators and guides, etc. I found the source for my nic liquid, dilutes, and mixing gear that I am going to use at My Freedom Smokes, but I have NO IDEA what flavors are good, what I want, etc. I have looked at the lists on ECF and I am so lost. It is a hard thing to say is a definite because everyone's preferences are so different. My question is if anyone has a source that they like where I can order several flavors at a cheaper price, just so I can try them out without blowing a ton of cash. I have always been a menthol vaper, but am venturing into fruit flavors and have been super happy, but will always need a menthol in my kit. If you have any recommendations that would rule.

Pure Vapes. You can buy 3ml samples of FlavourArt flavors for 1.50. Tobaccos for 2.00 He also sells premade. FlavourArt is superconcentrated, so you have a very low starting %. Very good, true to name flavors. Good fruits, good tobaccos. If you don't see a flavor listed, chances are he has it, anyway. You can email them and ask, they'll send it to you!

3ml doesn't sound like much, but it really would last a while, considering how little you use!
Good people.

Yeah, I am pretty well versed with what I need. I am more than happy with Wizard Labs' selection and prices. I like 50/50 just because I like the flavor I get from PG and the vape I get from VG, but after having used just VG recently I have found it to be too thick. I've tried 80/20 and 60/40 but I think the 50/50 is gonna be my best bet.

Flavorings - DIY Bases / Flavoring

Killer Juice is a flavoring company. They make natural flavors that taste like the real thing. $1.39 for 8ml is better than most places, and the flavors are fantastic!

They also have ready to vape juices at great prices. This weekend, Shamrock Shake is only 99 cents for 15ml. You will love that eliquid, everybody does.

The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) and FW (Flavor West) flavors require higher %'s to achieve a vapeable taste for many vapers (anywhere from 5%-20%). This means that vendors selling those flavors, even if they are the cheapest distributors or manufacturers of those flavors, you still end up needing to use quite a bit. So, for example, if you are trying new flavors and get the smallest size available (8ml, 10ml, or 12ml), you need to use quite a bit and so that vial of flavoring doesn't last long. Whereas FlavourArt (FA) and Inawera (INA)/Wera Gardens (WG) flavors are usually better and are cheaper in the long run because you only need a 1-3% concentration to achieve a good flavor. These last two brands may cost more initially, but you save over time because the bottle lasts longer.

There is a lot of information in DIY forum. As mentioned earlier, read the post it/sticky notes at the top of the forum to get more direction. You really just have to read through what's there and take notes as you go.

There are vendors that sell many different brands of flavors, which is helpful because then you can try out each brand and pay only 1 shipping price.

Some options are:

Electronic Cigarette, Clearomizer, USA e-Liquid, e-Cig Juice, DIY Flavors, Wholesale Nicotine, Empty Bottles for E-Liquid - ecigExpress

DIY E-Liquid Conentrated Flavoring

Yes, a lot of people vouch for WL, but I didn't find what I wanted there as far as flavors go. I'll probably hit them when I need nic again, because I haven't seen any site that matches their price. I just ordered some flavors from Ecig Express. I'll try to remember to post when I get the stuff. They have a nice selection and reasonable prices, but I can't recommend until I try out the product and see how their service is.

I'm curious to know how one makes a naturally extracted flavoring like cream cheese icing - does anyone know?

They have their own supprier forum here on ecf. Killer Juice You might ask over there.

I don't think all of their flavors are extracted, but that doesn't mean not natural. It is a fine line. I don't know the answer to your question. I just know they really do make some great ejuices!
