Best pg/vg mix for blowing smoke rings?

New vaper here and I'm trying to teach myself to blow smoke rings

Is there a good mixture, or better mixture of VG/PG for making rings or is it just more based on skill? I watched a lot of youtube videos and it seems like everyone is getting much thicker vapor that I am. I have a provari with Vivi nova setup, so I feel like I SHOULD be able to get nice thick vapor from it, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I would like to here about this too..I have a Vamo and Protank/eVod tanks set at 5-7watts and I don't get near the vapor, I gather it has something to do with lower ohms and lots of VG, we'll see who chimes in to let us know the secret...

Understand that what you see in a video is often *staged* to improve that presentation. Proper lighting and dark back ground, for example. If you haven't tried it yet use a webcam to record yourself blowing a cloud of vapor and do what you can to exhale the most vapor like not inhaling it all the way into your lungs in the first place. I think you'll find the vapor almost always looks thicker and whiter on camera.

Generally the higher the VG the more vapor it is capable of in a good device. I vape 50/50 most of the time, sometimes going up to 30/70 pg-vg ratio. VG is also thicker than PG and some devices have a harder time getting it to wick well. It may also mute flavors a bit.

70vg 30pg (that's quite common actually), should do fine.

Try pushing up the wattage and take a slow, steady draw.

Form a 'O' and push out the vapor gently with your tongue.

I'm using an ego-t with CE3s and it produces massive amounts of vapor, probably as much as when I smoked. I am currently using Johnson's Creek 24mg tobacco juice but I've used a few others and haven't had any problems with vapor production. I have had less vapor production with other clearomizers or when the clearo's get old. I've only been vaping for a month so I can't compare to many other products that are out there. All I can say is that huge vapor production is a possibility, just keep experimenting!

ViVi Nova has an airy drag so in my experience you won't get too much usable vapes for rings. I gave up on Vivi after trying to chocke one of the air intakes but then turned too tight...
I would recommend a Kanger T2 2.4 ohm at 4.2 v and then you will have LOTS of vape to play with. I use 50/50 now and I still get tonnes of vape. With Kanger is easy to block one of the vents with our thumb to get thicker vapes.

100% VG is the trick. I find it harder to blow smoke rings with vapor than cig smoke though.

If I'm playing and want to see smoke rings I don't inhale, just let it sit in my mouth and then form an 'o' and push with my tongue as was suggested. I can still do rings when I actully inhale the vapor but they are more airy and less visible.

100% vg is the best in terms of thickness but it is sometimes a pain because the juice is so thick too. So in your case I'd recommend a 70 30 blend. Its quite easy and fun once you get the hang of it

I've never been able to blow smoke rings... not on purpose anyways. I should learn! lol

I'd say to get a good vape (a mouthful of clouds), it's largely dependant on inhalation technique.
Be familiar with your PV. Understand how it works and adjust your drag accordingly.

You DON'T have to get high-end PVs or atty to accomplish that.

Like I said, just take a slow and steady drag (w/o inhale into lungs) and you'll have enough vapor for 4 rings at least!
