So I've done some research, and I plan on buying the Kanger Subtank Mini. I want a sub ohm build without having to drip, and I think the Subtank Mini is the best of the subtanks because of its size, and better than other sub ohm tanks like the Aspire Atlantis. I need a new mod that puts out at least 30w of power, but I think I want a 50w mod or higher. Any suggestions on a good mod? I'm thinking the smok Xpro 50w because it seems good and is not too expensive like the sigelei vr2 50w. Any suggestions on tanks or mods, or any advice will be much apprecited! Thanks

If you have the coin, I would recommend a DNA 40. Otherwise I'd get the iPV4.

Temperature Control gives a much better vape. The DNA 40 has it and the iPV4 will have it in a firmware update on April 1st.

To use this feature though, you will need to use Ni 200 (Nickel) wire if you get into rebuildables. If you buy a Kanger Subtank, there are Ni 200 coils available as well.

Even though I've had great luck with my Smok M50 (which came upgraded to 65W) I'd suggest avoiding the Smok xpro series, there are more than a few people that have reported the device significantly reducing the power setting once the battery is slightly drained. I'm not sure if people are using bad batteries, or if Smok's quality control is bad, but something like the IPV Mini II or the Istick 50w would likely be a safer bet.

Good luck on finding a device!

I currently have the SMOK xPro BT50 and have been using it for about 2 months now with Samsung INF1865 25R battery. It has been great and I get consistent power from it all day at work running a Kanger Subtank with a .3ohm dual coil on the RTA module. I also sometimes swap it into mechanical mode and put my Darkhorse RDA on it for testing different juices that I make and it works flawlessly. The bluetooth function on it with my smartphone is kinda cool to see my exact ohm and power with voltage drop in real time as I vape from it. Plus the width of the mod is exactly 25mm....(the same width as the Subtank) so they marry up nicely with no overhang or need for the beauty ring. I haven't had any real need to take it over 30 watts with the coils that i usually build.

I got a istick 50w and Subtank mini last week and Im really liking the set-up,it has great flavor and and the battery life on the istick is top notch. I also have a Sigelei 50w VR2 on the way that I got from Vaporrange for $55 shipped which is really close to the price of the istick. Of course if you dont already have some good batteries and charger for something like the Sigelei then you also need to factor that into your cost, I highly recommend that you dont skimp on either.
