Battery on charger blinks about 20 times before charges goes from red to green

I just got my first eGo today, a 650 mah from myfreedomsmokes that's labeled as eGo-K. I put it on the charger a few times and have noticed that the battery led button blinks about 20 times just before the charger light turns from red to green. Is this normal? The battery appears to be working fine. I've tried it with a spring loaded bottom coil clearo and with an adapter/808 carto on it. It crackles and vapes just fine. So is the 20 blinks just a sign that it's fully charged or should I suspect something here? Thanks.

You got me, but I don't use an eGo k. What I usually experience with other eGo batteries is a fairly steady blinking red from the charger, and ultimately a grean light on the charger. I've never paid much attention to what the battery led is doing.

If this doesn't help with the question, someone else will.

Most batteries come with a "storage" charge around 50%...best to fully charge it up 100% (the 8 hours mentioned in above post)

Also..when you tighten down the charger...gently snug it down..don't hork it down till it wont turn anymore
