I just ordered an Aspire BDC Clearomizer. I was planning on getting a Vision Spinner to use with it. When looking around I came across a listing that said not intended for dual coil atomizers. So my question is what VV battery would be recommended for this atomizer? All my other hardware is Halo. so it all works together well, but it proprietary. Also, I dont want to spend a whole lot on a battery. This is just something I want to try.

I'm a little confused on battery threads. I see 510/eGo. is that 2 threads? do the spinners have both these threads? one inside and one outside? I'm using Halo stuff now and they use 808/vGo. my battery has 2 different threads on it. My small tanks use the inside threads and my big tanks use the outside. do I have this right?

510 is the small thread, similar to your 808. It's on the inside of an ego threaded topper, those being the ones on the outside.

(Er, I think your Halo is 808... and if so, you can get an adapter to use 510 and ego threaded toppers.)

Many mechanical mods only have 510. Most, but not all, VV/VW tube mods have 510/ego, as do many of the Spinner types and others. 510/ego is the most widely used. So you get more options on hardware. And the right adapter works fine :)

Vision Spinner Variable Voltage Battery

I was just surfing around looking for a battery/charger combo when I stumbled on this.

Thats exactly the place I bought mine. I do see the recommendation to not use these with dual coils, but (and I'm not certain on this) but they may mean to not use them with a dual coil setup that is getting into the sub-ohm range. My Aspire BDC's are at 1.8 ohm. All I know is I havent had one issue with it on my spiner and still get over a day of charge out of it.

ok
Thanks for the battery info. I was pretty sure about that, but needed verification. I ordered the spinner last night. Those adapters are hard to find in stock. I wanted to have a set up that is more universal, so thats why I bought the spinner. I hope the Aspire BDC holds up as well as my Halo tanks. They all still work fine with original coils. I have 7 of them and they see heavy use.
Thanks again for the help. Really looking forward to getting the new devices.
