Marlboro is really trying to ruin the idea of vaping to new comers. And heres how. So the other day im heading to work, and my mod dies on the way, so now im left with no nicotine for the 12 hours of third shift. What a fun night it was going to be. So I stop at a gas station and buy a mark 10 menthol with the idea of "Its 5 dollars and will get me through the night" Well it did get me through the night just fine. I only used it 3 times that night, for about 3-5 minutes per time. So we can say 15 minutes total. I finally get off work, go home and go to sleep in preparation of another night shift. I wake up with the worse cough ive ever had. Not just loud and a lot of coughing, but painful coughing. I am still painfully coughing up what i can only describe as fiberglass infused wonky chinese e juice. If you need something on short notice, dont get the mark 10.

Did not have that problem at all. As a mattter of fact, I just posted a positive on my experience with the company. :)

I never vaped an entire one, but I am very sensitive to chemicals and high flavoring and such, and did not find these a problem.

I think you may be allergic to one of the ingredients......or maybe you are just getting sick.

Anyway, hope you feel better soon.

A huge percentage of vapers found there way here by starting out with Blu, disposables, etc. and even quit cigs that way.

I am pro-vaping. Anybody who gets off cigs is a win....I don't care how they do it. I'm not taking sides when people's lives are at stake.

There are also a few people here who only used gas station vapes....to quit cigarettes.......one member in particular can't get her husband to use anything else. So what, he's off cigs and that's all that matters to me. ;)

I guess it depends where your priorities are. Mine is getting people off cigarettes.

there are companies that make cigalikes that are not owned by BT companies. those companies should be promoted. if you want to continue to get people off of cigarettes then you should discontinue support of a company who is more than likely using profits from its product to lobby against pro vaping legislation.

I was reading somewhere (I think this forum) that In the new cigalikes they put a MASSIVE amount of nicotine in comparison to our vapes. That in itself will ENSURE a addiction or at the least a reliance on their product. It's so over priced as well. Say one Vuse is 10.00 and a refill pack of two is 6.00. That's 16 dollars just to vape their product. More than cigarettes by 10 dollars. One cartridge (no matter what they say) only lasts a couple of hours. At 6 dollars for only two refills. Think of the MASSIVE profit they are making! And by putting a extra amount of nicotine inside, they are trying to assure your return. Maybe their plan is for people to think vaping is too expensive and return to their cigarettes. After spending 16 dollars for a few hours of vaping the 6 dollar pack of cigarettes will seem like a bargain. I wish there was a way to get the message out to the general public that regular vaping is far less expensive! I may sound crazy but I wouldn't put anything past big tobacco!

i think your on the right track but isn't the nicotine
level indicated on the packaging?
your point about the pricing is right on.
BT is pushing for closed system pre-filled
tamper proof cartridges in the coming regs.
if the FDA goes by the 2007 grand father date
for a predict product only cigalikes will be allowed anyway.
imagine the cost after FDA regulation and government
taxation.

When I was using VUSE I'd get about 4-5 days on a cartridge. Before I started vaping, I was about a one-half pack-a-day smoker, so it really did last for "about two packs" as indicated on the packaging. 'Course, they tasted like ashtray, so I wasn't puffing real deeply or inhaling them at all and so I might have been stretching them a bit longer than most folks would in the same situation. But in any case, I was certainly spending less money on them than I used to on cigarettes (and even less than that now, now that I've fully converted to refillables.)

Not on the VUSE it isn't. Haven't used a Mark Ten so I don't know about those ones.

I do not like cigarlikes, I do not like BT, but I do not like "never buy" posts either.

Anyone can have bad experience at one time or another, but why to single it out? What if it was a coincidence? User error? Bad weather?

I do not like to hear “never buy …” when opinion is based on a single occurrence.

The VUSE is reported at 48mg! Ouch!

The original post is a logical fallacy: Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Anecdotal data is no data at all.

The new wave of cigalikes has been really good compared to what was available a few years ago. I couldn't quit with the first generation of BLU, but I probably could with the new PLUS system, or Vuse or MK10.

I find it amusing the same crying about additives by BT don't want any regulation on e-nic. What would BT have put in cigarettes had it not been for the FDA?..

I don't know what might have been added but for the all knowing, all caring federal government. And so, each day, in every way, I thank the FDA.

Have you ever smoked US brand cigarettes made in Russia, or other countries without FDA-style regulation? 2-3 cigarettes and your fingers turn yellow...
