I have recently got into RTA tanks. Mostly because our Canadian government has become semi ant-vaping. I used mainly Aspire Nautilus coils and tanks but nearly all tanks are illegal to sell now. Seeing what was coming, I bought whatever rebuildable tanks that were left in the market. I figure drop in coils maybe a problem to buy in the future. Most of the RTAs were duds to me as I like to vape a very loose MTL style rarely over 20 watts. The Merlin Mini suits me well as I like tanks that have good air flow options. One issue I find is that the cotton sometimes lifts out of the juice well causing a minor leak. Am I doing something wrong when wicking? I use a 28 gauge kanthal round wire with a 2.5 mm diameter coil at 1.5 ohms. Also any suggestions on other tanks as I can still order from China. Was looking to pickup the Brunhilde MTL but I don’t think I will like the airflow.

I had the same kind of problem with the regular merlin. I like the tank and everything would be fine when first wicked and filled, but when refilling, taking off the cap I would see bubbles coming up and I'd know it was flooding. I think it has to do with the seals on the cap pulling juice in when unscrewed, but I don't know. Another reason I like rda's:)

You won't go wrong with a MTL Brunhilde. It's a fantastic tank for flavor. Lots of airflow options to. You will definitely find the right airflow for you, with the insets that comes with it...no doubt about that.

From the videos that I have watched on the Brunhilde once the airflow is set up it cannot be changed without removing the coil. I constantly change my airflow from a tight DL to a tight MTL and in between. Sometimes I want flavour, sometimes thumping throat hits. Will this be a problem with this tank?

It won't be an issue at all:)
The Brunhilde MTL RTA has two separate airflow holes on it. One under the coil which takes the different size inserts(or you can have no insert like I do) and the other a/f is on the outside of the tank which is a single 3.2mm hole, that can be adjusted to your liking.
Close it right down and you will get the airflow nice and tight just the way you like it, open right up and you will get All the flavour and a lovely RDL vape.
I've had 6 of the flavour bangin' beautiful Brunhilde's since they were first released and there all vaped a very loose MTL:thumb:

Yeah ofcourse. My apologies...seems like I lied to you ....out of ignorance:D. Daniel is right. I use mine with a 2.5 air insert and I keep the air on the cap fully open...I like a restricted DL only. I've never thought of closing the air inlet on the cap...because the amount of air is perfect as it is.
Just tried it now and it does a tight to loose MTL and restricted DL perfectly...all on one setting. That gives me even more respect for the MTL Brunhilde. It's a fantastic tank mate. You won't be sorry getting it

You need to get to know your Brunhilde a bit better Fred, she'll treat you much nicer;)

Ah mate she's like the perfect wife now. We had a argue or two at the start, but we came to the conclusion it was my fault....I'm to set in my ways. I didn't let her be herself. Now that that sillyness is behind us, we're the perfect couple....even the other mods and tanks are talking about us

I decided to order the Brunhilde, unfortunately I won’t see it until almost Christmas
