Oh Man! I dropped my Dragon while cooking... it fell on the stove top while I was turning on my overhead light- it fell to the stove top, the cart/mouthpiece fell off and then the battery w/ atty fell to the floor before I could catch it- The atty hit and it flattened it!!!! (I have a 401 which is an exposed bridge atty)
Everything seems to be working okay other than my atty... I very gently went to work to get my bridge back up to a normal position... Seems I have done that, wire seems to still be intact because I tried it out and it is working- I just am getting an airy sound... and it pulls kind of like one side is heating and one side isn't... if that makes sense. It is an uneven pull and of course it feels light- I filled up a new cartridge- it got better but there is a difference...
I have 2 other atty's right now so I am not SOL but just wondering if this has happened to anyone and if I can get the entire thing operational again?
I have been having great success w/ my atty's, batteries and the like- I hate that this happened! I am getting ready to order a few more atty's and batteries for back up just to have but was really hoping to never have to pull them out unless I wanted to have an extra for a dedicated flavor or what have you...
Any help would be appreciated!

Thx Snarky-
LOL I was literally getting ready to chuck it right there- I was more concerned my battery still worked and it does - great- I am using it now- LOL But as I was getting ready to throw the atty, I just got in some new juice so I decided- well, let's try it on this flavor before I get in new atty's- I was told of a few liquids to dedicate an atomizer...
at any rate, I prime puffed it a couple times and there it goes- working- not as good as it did but I could definitely use it in a pinch... still good vape production- just that sound and the fact that it feels like a lighter pull... hmm I guess that would be, I am pulling as usual and seems air is coming through more (the sound) causing not to be as much of a "vacuum" formed... for a full hit...- Yeah, I guess that describes it better...
Still good vape production for what I am getting so it works in a pinch as I said- maybe something I can do to get the "other side" heating again as well (I am assuming this is what is happening by the feel) I can't see it w/ my cart on...
Right now I am cleaning that atty- seeing if that helps at all- and figured if it conks out altogether for soaking it in hot water... well, I expected it to be gone already anyway... I am treating it w/ kid gloves if this works it out! LOL

Funny, EZ... HeeHee* Yeah, NOT! LMAO

Well, I thought it was truly gone! I cleaned it.. as in I soaked it in hot water... changed it out when water tempered down... about 3 times... I blew it out again of excess water... blew the bridge side gently to rid excess water between bridge... blew out battery end again... and let it sit to dry...
next day... I primed it up with a few drops PG/VG liquid... after a few hours and another couple drops of PG/VG, I tried it... pulled and inhaled, pulled and inhaled, (*I huffed and puffed and I huffed and puffed*) and it was getting warm but no vape... *sh##!- I took it off, hooked up my other atty to vape- figured, well, I thought it was dead anyway...
as the day moves on I tried it another few times... again getting hot but no vape... taste hint of juice but no vape... (can ya tell I am in denial?)
LOL so I kept every few hours trying it out... and about an hour ago I got it!! took a few stronger pulls and "Vape!" Tried it again... "vape"- it is a harder pull but vaping- then I pulled and again nothing... - checked cart and all... so I tried once more and got the half and half feel from the pull again... so, not throwing it out yet- I am going to let it rest and try it in the morning- I think it is back even if only as a back up... I do have a few more atty's coming and I still have my other "not even opened yet" atty from JD on my 1st order... I will say it also made me nervous about cleaning atty's- even in just water- I will be very cautious of that again too-

I dropped a Volcano atomizer and it does round about the same thing; it'll vape once, cease then get really hot and it feels like I am trying to suck through a straw with my finger over the bottom. I should probably mention the LED lights up.

I really didn't want to find that I was going to melt some plastic or anything, so I'm ready to toss it and order a new one plus back ups. If I were you I'd call it a loss, not look back and break into a new atty. I know I'm not looking forward to the break-in process again, but thank goodness I have my VK to keep me company :D

GL!

Just wanted to post back on this...
My dropped atty is still working... It takes just a slightly harder pull to get it started and then, everything is lovely- just for that fact alone, I have labeled this atty my "RedHots atty" and may even end up trying the drip method with it... I still get great vape production and great flavor... I first hooked it back up with some butterscotch, then a blend of DK-TAb & Menthol, and now- decided I would use it for my RedHots and leave it for such for now... I have some atty's coming in and when I get the extras I may designate it as a drip only atty- I will see- but, again, once I get it started, it vapes great- gets very warm and brings outthe flavor and vape wonderfully-
I guess I was lucky... When it dropped straight on it's bridge and flattened it I thought it would be gone for sure... I will say again as in my prior post, very carefully lift the bridge up... I did not pull on it, jerk or yank, I carefully found a small spot where I could edge a paperclip in and carefully pry a bit more space, going back and forth from one side to the next until it was raised a bit to almost normal, then I took tweezers and shaped it again, slowly and carefully... I am impressed to say the least, surprised and impressed...
