My Zelos is about three months old and suddenly I have this problem.
Battery shows fully charged
After about three hours of vaping, battery still shows half charged. the screen shows low battery and cuts off while trying to vape. Recharge battery and same thing happens?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

What battery are you using and what wattage are you vaping at?

How were you charging the battery, and how heavy was your use? It sounds like the battery is degrading and only providing you will the vapable life it has left. If it's under the warranty period, I would try returning it, but to make sure that it doesn't happen again if you could talk about your charging protocol, it may have been being overcharged, or charged at too rapid a rate? It's always possible you got a bad battery, but Aspire's fairly reliable but that's not to say sometimes things don't slip through the cracks.

Hope you are able to get it sorted out.

Battery charge state may be out of sync with the gauge. Fully drain, charge, fully drain. That's one reason why they tell you to do that in the manual with almost any device.

Always try to buy from a place with a good long warranty and good CS. Worth any xtra cost. Use often upon receipt.

ok, so whats the fastest way to drain the battery other then hitting the fire button a thousand times?

When I bought my Zelos, the guy in the shop said that if I used a wall charger greater than 800ma I would void the warranty. I don't know whether it was a ruse to get me to buy one of their 700ma wall chargers, but I did and it's all I use for this mod.
Apparently the charging control board can get damaged by using something like an IPad charger. This sounds like what your problem could be. The charging control board says one thing and the power control board says something else.
Looks like your charging control board is damaged and I would take it back from where you bought it. Perhaps the board can't effectively limit the input current and gets damaged if you use a wall charger that's too powerful. Either way I think the Mod is history. Take it back.
