Hey,

I bought Aspire CF G-power 1300 battery 3 months ago, i lost my charging cable after 2 months of using. So my aspire battery has been laying on a table for a month. Two days ago i found my charging cable and tried to recharge my battery. I did everything correctly and the indicators showed that the battery is fully charged.

Then i tried to start vaping but nothing happened. Only the leds blinked bot blue and orenge at the same time three times in a row. From a manual i understood that the battery might be in a 'sleep mode'. Due to my poor english i dont understand how to turn off this sleep mode. Could someone help me with my problem ? I would really respect if You keep in mind that english ain't my natural language.

Sincerely,

Dude from Finland

Hello and welcome to the forum @VapeFIN20. Glad to have you here!:)

Atomizer Short Circuit Protection

If heating coils are short-circuited while vaping, the LED lights (both colors) blink 3 times, and the battery will default to “sleep mode.”

Do you have a new coil you can try?

Thanks for your fast reply.
Yes, have changed brand new coil but still doesn't work. Should i be in contact with the store i bought the battery from?

Try turning the battery off (5 clicks) and then turning it back on (5 clicks). Does that help?
No effect. It doesn't even turn off when the clearo is connected to battery, it just blinks both leds. When i take the clearo off the battery shows normal blue led and goes off and on normally but when the clearo is on, the battery doesn't work at all. I have a spare clearo and the battery doesn't work with that neither. Also I have tried with my friend's clearo, did not work but did not broke his clearo.

It may be that the center pin of the battery is not making a connection with the atomizer of the clearomizer/tank. This usually occurs from over-tightening the tank onto the battery connector. Just make sure that if you use something conductive (metal) to pry up on the center pin that you do NOT hit the fire button while you are working on the battery. Or better yet, turn off the battery.

My battery has a spring under the firing pin, and the spring seems to be working fine (goes easily up and down). And I have been carefull to not over-tightening tank cause i have heard that it can damage both battery and tank. This whole thing is quite weird cause i have used my battery for just over a month, but now it has just been laying on table for 2 months. @Susan~S

Sorry, I don't know what else you can try. Maybe contacting the store you bought it from would be your best next step.

Yes, possibly, BUT it's impossible to say for sure.

3 months is a long time... enough to be a possibility.
Yep it is. Now i'm waiting a reply from the store i bought the battery. Maybe they have some solution. I have also been in contact with Aspire, the manufacturer. User manual did not say anything about the hazards when the battery is low for a long time. If i have to buy a new one, maybe i get some discount from the new one. Hahah!
