Aspire security code?

I just got the Aspire nautilus tank I ordered off of eBay. Looks real, everything that is supposed to be included is in the box. Scratched off the security code and input it into the Aspirecig website and got back this.



What does that mean? Is it a fake nautilus?

I'll try to contact Aspire directly also.

So this one is fake. No doubt about that? Just trying to make sure before I contact the eBay seller and get my money back.

This issue you will run into is that EBay prohibits the sale of Electronic Cigarettes and equipment. They most likely will not back you in order to get a refund from the seller. I would try and avoid ebay whenever possible for vape related items.

Thanks but I don't understand. If it is not allow how in the hell can it show up on eBay. No real worries as I paid for it through PayPal with an American Express card. Some how, someway I will get a refund.

As it so happens I have been in touch with Aspire and I just sent then pictures of the unit I got. The security code is under a scratch off label on the bottom back of the box. See image.

If your unit does not have that label that says Scratch and Check (that wording is scratched off on the image I posted) then it is NOT REAL. Take it back.

Yeah really, I got a fake, a ....ty fake at that apparently... so ....ty they didn't even bother with the code. Damn thing leaks like hell too... I just hope I'm not stuck with it and out that money. We'll see what happens.

Did you buy it Locally, IE at a local shop? I certainly would take it back and demand my money back as they are clearly selling FAKE goods as REAL.

Yeah, a local shop. They seem to be the most liked shop around here, but then I've heard of them being dicks towards a couple people I know. I don't get the vibe from the place that going in and telling them they are selling fakes is going to go over well.

Where is the place on the aspire site where you enter in the verification code? The site only has the news section but no place to enter in the code, just tells you how to look at the box to tell if it is fake.

Leaking from where? Do you have the stock head in it.

Either the head isn't turned in all the way, isn't threaded in properly (Cross threaded) or the top isn't threaded on the glass tank all the way or the rubber/silicone washer in the top or at the bottom is defective.

The only reason any tank system leaks is from an Air Leak. The tank works on negative pressure to hold the juice in the tank. Once there is an air leak into the tank area that negative pressure is gone and it will leak out the air hole or both the air hole and the hole that is letting air into the tank.
