So I'm pretty new to vaping and I currently have a Nautilus X for MTL but I'm reading that RDTA/RDA is where the flavour is. The Aspire Quad Flex pack seems like a good option to convert my Nautilus X and experiment with RDTA/RDA but does anyone know if it's good for MTL?

Its super cheap on GearBest atm (less than the cost of a Nautilus X by itself!) so I figure if I'm not keen on the RDTA/RDA I just have an extra tank and nothing lost!

If I get it I'll be buying pre-wrapped coils and wicking myself so could anyone recommend what coils would be best for this? (I'm using the 1.8 stock coils in my Nautilus X atm with the air about 1/3 open).

Also, as the deck is dual coil does this mean if I buy coils at 1ohm and use 2 the resistance is 2ohm? Or 0.5 ohm? Or still 1ohm?

Sorry, confooozed and grateful for any help!

I have the 2 of QF Power Pack sets since I already had a couple Nauti X tanks (which I never use anymore since going to sub-ohm DL vaping). I got them because they were on sale at the time for like $6 or something super cheap.

The RDA with the top airflow gives a fairly restricted DL vape but I never tried vaping it MTL. I haven't used the top airflow setup in a while so I am not 100% sure if that airflow setup can be adjusted or not (I think it can, but not positive) but I will try and remember to go dig it out of my stash and check later today. I use the side airflow setup wide open for DTL vaping when I use it. It is a decent little RDA with good flavor IMO. I have not ever built it up in RDTA mode.

Using 2 x 1.0 ohm coils would halve the resistance to 0.5 ohm.

Whether you can MTL or not will depend on your wattage, air inflow, and other factors. I can MTL on a 0.7 coil on the Nautilus 2, but I haven't tried going lower and I'm not sure I'd want to.

I don't have the Nautilus X, but I've loved most aspire products (even the Cleto which is pure DL, and I don't use so often). I'd say it's inexpensive enough to give it a try, but I'd try to keep your ohms as high as you can... Start at low wattage, move up if you have to, but it's certainly worth giving it a shot if you are interested...
