After this brief taste of this fantastic super-kit, like Armstrong I returned to planet earth and now I am in charge of the review of this "Standard version" that Aspire kindly sent me.

    Enjoy the reading.

The cardboard packaging brings back to the front; the image of this all-in-one kit, the words "Nautilus Prime X Innovate the way you vape" and the color indication in the form of an adhesive sticker.

On the back we find listed; the content, the warnings, the address, the social contacts and the indication of the place of production.

Laterally they are listed; the scrathch and check, the anti-counterfeiting hologram, the batch number, the warnings on the age of the consumer according to local legislation, finally logos and brands.

The colors available for Nautilus Prime X are currently six:

    Initial impressions:
Owning the previous Nautilus Prime with built-in 2,000mAh battery, I expected Nautilus Prime X to be a much larger and heavier 18650 device, I was proved wrong, in fact with the 18650 battery installed Prime X weighs only 35gr more, the two devices have practically the same height, while the thickness of Prime X is only 2mm higher than the previous version.

The form factor between the old and the new device is almost identical, except for the front area which has been flattened to make way for a "large" 0.96 "color display and an elegant leather insert has been adopted (much of a moda) which completely covers the rear area and half the side panels.

In the new Nautilus Prime X, in addition to the display, the adjustment buttons and the charging socket have also changed location.

Honestly, I like the new Nautilus Prime X much more than the previous one, it maintains the same solidity characteristics but its appearance is further embellished by the choices of materials and by the measures and arrangement of the new display.
Handling and portability are still its strengths, only the choice on the positioning of the Fire button is questionable, I would have preferred it from the front and I wrote it even at the time of the review of the previous Nautilus Prime. However the side Fire button does not create problems it is only get used to it and do it quickly.

As I have already anticipated, the front of Nautilus Prime X has been flattened to make way for a larger and more colorful display that shows all the information useful for Vaping; indicator with percentage of battery charge level, power lock / unlock symbol, function in use, best range of the coil, watt, volt, resistance, amper, Puff counter and duration of the last Puff.

Even the handle has a flattened shape, moreover this part has been made soft and pleasant to the touch thanks to the leather or imitation leather insert.

In the side view, starting from the top you can see the different dimensions of the liquid control windows, the large one offers an optimal internal view, moreover this detail is an immediate reference for the correct insertion of the cartridge.
The Fire button and the two adjustment buttons "+" and "-" despite having a metallic appearance seem to be made of plastic, are well sized and sufficiently precise, the USB Type-C charging socket is located on the opposite side.

On the surface of the leather insert there is no shortage of beautiful visible stitching and not even the hot-stamped writings, on one side you will find the wording "Nautilus Prime X" in large letters and on the other hand the writing "Aspire" of smaller dimensions .

The bottom of the mod shows the legal mark, the disposal logo and a writing that identifies its origin, there are the vent holes for the cell and an arrow indicating the opening direction to access the compartment / battery.

Scrolling in the direction indicated by the arrow opens the door, the direction of insertion of the 18650 cell is marked inside with the symbol (+).

The compartment / pod uses a particularly powerful interlocking system and without using magnets, according to Aspire this strong and secure coupling improves the stability of the electrical connection.
On the bottom of the compartment / pod you can see the gold / plated contact pins and two French screws.

The two Pods supplied in this kit are specific for different types of coils. The Pod / BP has a capacity of 4ml of liquid while the Pod / Nautilus reaches up to 4.5ml thanks to a smaller footprint of the BVC resistance.

The Drip-Tip 510 (replaceable) is made of derlin with double sealing o-rings, the BP / Pod uses a nylon and PCTG compound to withstand any high wattages. The refill is lateral on both pods with a large hole protected by a silicone tab.

    Coil:
In the Standard kit of this review two coils are included one is the 0.7Ω Nautilus Mesh Coil (20-25W) for an MTL / RDL vape the other is the new 0.3Ω (30-40W) BP Mesh Coil for the vape RDL / DL.
The offer of spare coils is particularly extensive for both Pod systems, the optional Nautilus Prime RBA and BP Prime RBA are also available.

    Operation Guide:
    - To turn on / off the Mod press the Fire button 5 times
    - To lock / unlock the up / down adjustment keys, press the Fire key three times
    - To reset the number of Puffs press the Up / Fire buttons together

Pressing and holding the + and - buttons simultaneously when unlocked will enter the main menu interface, then the screen will be displayed
"MODE" "COLOR", "BRIGHTNESS" and "EXIT" making it possible to select different modes and settings.

    Final conclusions:

I find the Nautilus Prime X to be a truly elegant device and has reached full maturity, the construction, portability and finishes are excellent, the machining tolerances are precise, zero noise, favorable weight and dimensions and a great dowry of accessories buy even separately.

The chipset and security levels are perfectly adequate, the maximum power of 60W is quite useless considering the Nautilus coils, but it comes in handy with the accessories available separately, such as the 510 adapter or the RDTA module, but also in anticipation of new BP Coil with high potential for pulmonary vaping. Delivery is timely, the Coil reading is correct and battery management is also good.

The installation of the coil and the design of the refill are quite comfortable for an AIO system, the AFC adjustment can be left completely open, in this case the air is limited only by the type of coil chosen, thus favoring pulmonary vaping.

With the 0.3Ω BP Coil (30-40W) the ASP chipset in AUTO mode suggests a power of 35W, this for me is a fantastic coil with an excellent aromatic yield, the consumption of liquid is not excessive and the device remains well isolated from heat, by closing the AFC by about 50%, the perceived flavor becomes even more full-bodied in the face of an increase heat, however bearable.

Using the other cartridge with the 0.7Ω (20-25W) Nautilus Mesh Coil I realized how much the AFC adjustment system has improved to narrow the Puff to a minimum for a pure MTL. This AFC is really much more effective than the already good previous system. With Nautilus Prime X by regulating the air you always get a fluid and silent Puff with any Coil.
The ASP chipset in AUTO mode suggests 22W power for this Coil, however I usually use this resistor at 20W and find great longevity.

It often happens to me that someone asks me for advice on which Mod, Pod or Aio device to buy, in this case I have no doubt and Nautilus prime X is a really good choice to indicate.

    Thank you for reading.

Thanks to Aspire for sending me Nautilus Prime X Standard Version for the review:
