Aspire Mini Nautilus

Heya folks! Just placed my order for this tank and looking at reviews and such after the fact I think I have confused my self. This is what I purchased:

Looking at this , it says it has a trim ring for an ego battery. All I have is ego T batteries. As I study the picture however I just don't understand how the hollow ring is going to make the male threads on my ego mesh with the male threads on the tank. Do I need to get another adapter here? Can someone please explain this to me?
Eventually, I want to get a nicer battery, the mvp's look like a good next step...but for now its just the egos.

edit: Did not know I could not link it. Its the standard setup that comes with:
1 x Mini Nautilus Tank
1 x Stainless Steel Driptip
2 x BVC Nautilus dual coil 1.8ohm atomizer heads
1 x Trim ring for use on eGo style batteries

If I'm reading what you wrote properly what the "trim ring" actually is would be what is known as a beauty ring it is just to have a cleaner battery to tank transition.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. I just downloaded the user guide pdf and it says this:

For use with ego batteries. Screw the ego threaded cone onto the battery, then install the mini onto the battery.

It could be threaded, tough to see. Yeah, I am the guy who buys a new device and gets the wrong coils, or charger, or anything else that could be wrong.

Like Moore said the trim ring has threads to screw onto the outside of the battery connection and make the top flat for tanks like the mini to sit flush and nice to make a smooth transition from the battery to the tank.

The naut mini is great, it's in my regular rotation with my kayfun and kanger mega.

The mini Nautilus comes with a beauty ring. It fits on the eGo thread and smoothes the line to the base of the tank.

Does a mini Nautilus work on an eGo - T? (is the battery powerful enough?)

The trim ring or beauty ring gives it support so your connection doesn't break

I have both the Full and Mini and Love them both with the BVC (bottom vertical coil) I did not like the Duel coils at all! Always got dry hits if is set a lil too long for some reason

the BVC puts the bdc to shame, i vaped both with the same juice same wattage etc. on my mvp. Still had a new coil that came with my Full size Naut. so i used 2 new coils for comparison, man no contest BVC is the way to go

I picked one up about a month ago and I love it. Great flavor and can cape at 11 watts with out burning.

I love my Mini! Had it about a week now. Very nice. Got the steel encased tank for it, too. Sexy.

Almost seems to me that along with streamlining the look, the ring also affords some support. Mine tightens right down on the ring, and it seems as though it lends a lot more to sit on than the tiny 510 connector does. There's a lot of tank sticking up and hanging out without it. Just a thought.

I agree with these guys! The mini and the "regular" Nautilus are great tanks. I also like the BVC atomizers. I have not tried the BDC's. I head the BVC's are basically mini cartomizers and that may be why they work so well. It sure looks that way though if you look inside them before you screw them in though.

I just got it in the mail....the mini was sold out where I ordered so exchanged for the nautilus instead. On a regular ego battery this thing is just unreal. It may look a bit silly on my skinny ego but it works soooo nice. My juice even tastes better. I think I blew out a lung on the largest hole setting....
