The AsModus Lustro 200W box mod was sent to me for the purpose of this review.

AsMODus is well-known for their signature style and wide range of mods. While many manufacturers offer similar features, what sets this mod apart is its GX-200-HUT chipset. Not only is its power management really impressive, but the menu is fairly comprehensive, and anything you might want to adjust on the fly is easily accessible.

In the box-

Lustro 200W box mod
Charging/upgrade cable
User manual
Battery safety card

Modes-

Power
TFR
TCR
Curve
Temp

The Lustro is powered by two 18650 batteries (not included) installed by removing the back of the mod, which is held in by magnets. Inside, the battery orientation is marked with a plus and minus sign, and is equipped with a ribbon to assist with battery removal. Stickers remind you to push toward the spring loaded negative end.

When batteries are first installed, five clicks turn the mod on, and the screen will ask if the batteries are married and undamaged. If No is clicked, the mod will shut off. If Yes, the home screen appears.

To unlock the screen, swipe down. To change modes, swipe left or right.

In power mode, unlock the screen by swiping down, press wattage to adjust the wattage with up or down arrows. Click once to return. Power mode also offers three types of hit, soft, normal, and hard. To select, swipe down to unlock the screen, and swipe up to change between S, N, and H.

In Temp mode, Select your site type by unlocking the screen and pressing Temp to scroll. Wire options are SS304, SS316, SS317, TI, and Ni200. To switch from TC to watts simply touch TC. To adjust, press and hold for a second, and when you release, you'll see the adjustment arrows.

To customize Curve, unlock the screen and press
S, located below the speedometer. Up to five different wattage settings can be used in tenths of seconds. In the main menu there is a puff time limit setting. However many seconds that is set for is the maximum you can use to set Curve.

To get to the main menu, click five times and swipe right or left to select Off, Ohm reader, Lock, Color, Color off, Color speed, Version, Update, Puff counter, and Puff timer.

Almost hidden among all these features are the flashlight and IR sensor. To access, swipe up while the screen is locked. The flashlight has to low and high settings, and shuts off with one click to return to the home screen. The IR sensor will remain active until you disable it.

Lightweight and powerful, incredibly versatile and a great value.

Thank you, @Asmodus_Nikko for this opportunity.

Comprehensive write up. I would have liked to have read your personal impressions about the device. Thanks for taking the time, pics are great.
Thank you, and you’re right. Should’ve added my thoughts on hand feel. Very small and light for a dual battery, really nice to use and even to bring along- which I don’t say about any other duals.

A clear, well-written review. A question, though: what is the purpose of the IR sensor?

That’s for touch-free swiping. All you can do with it is change modes though. And the screen has to be unlocked to do that. It’s just a gimmick. I guess the flashlight is, too, but you could use it to get your key into your door in a pinch, or find stuff in your handbag or under the couch. The funniest vape video I’ve ever seen was Jai Haze talking about that IR. I hurt myself laughing.
