I vape pretty regularly at the lighthouse pub in the south east

I vape at every pub i go to. So far when I explain what i am doing it they are fine with it

I tried at rips north and naughtinghams in scenic acres, both made a fuss.

Understood it is not "smoking" but didn't want any smokers to light up in protest.

I use getting confronted at a bar as a way to educate people i find after the bartender gets over the shock when they think you are smoking and i explain what it is i am doing , they usually think it is cool. if you ski or snowboard i was allowed to vape in a packed pub at sunshine

Lol, this vaping indoors thing is hard to get used to. Although I am getting used to a clean smelling car!

Ducky's Pub in the SW is a very vape friendly pub. Most of the staff vape and all of the staff know what it is and are fine with it (as well as the regulars).

Juliet's Castle in the NE is somewhat vape friendly. They don't discourage it at all - but have a lot of new staff who don't know what it is. So you may have to field a few questions from time to time - though if they don't "smell smoke" they won't assume "fire".

There are no by-laws for "making vapor with a small battery operated device in a public place" - so vaping in pubs might result in answering a few questions - at best.
