Air whistling sound. ArghhhH!

the "air whistle sound" which i hear on all the youtube reviewer videos.

I want to vape at night or in public but I really despise the sound.

is there a solution? leave vaping altogether?

is there no way to "Suck the air" or whatever the proper term is silently?

Not that I am aware. All of mine make air noises when I inhale. They don't have to whistle, but they're not silent.

The only solution is to take short, gentle draws. Or - to just get used to the sound.

Yeah it's kind of the nature of the beast.

More "mouth to lung" style tanks like the Nautilus are less whistly than the sub-ohm tanks, but none of them are dead silent.

I find that adjusting the airflow can help, also blowing out the tank can help if the whistling is something new.

I vape only RDA's. One machined clone vs another vendor's machined clone of the same RDA original copy when compared side by side is the same difference between night and day. It's the luck of the draw as too which clone is silent (that is if your lucky to buy a silent one) and which clone tends to whistle or be more noisy. With Authentic tanks or RDA's you might cut the chance of receiving a noisy model. The advantage of buying authentic is at the least one could imagine returning it, with understanding presale,if it tests out to be noisy.
Note: I have RDA clones that are near completely silent.

No panic. Just get a different sort of tank.

I found the Eleaf GS Airtanks, Joyetech ego one and tron tanks to be pretty quiet, no whistle noise and the new Vaporesso Target tanks with the cCell to be even quieter with no whistling or rattlesnake sounds but you will always have an inhale air type sound.

My Lemo 2 is very very quiet - I wish my kanger and kabuki could be as stealthy.

I can deal with the noise, but I am hesitant to vape while on the phone, which is only occasionally a big deal.
