Genesis attys were invented to avoid using silica,but if some people need to use it to help get their attys working than go for it but it's not necessary.

I am very seriously thinking of getting the AGA T-2 for my first rba.

In case I want to try silica with it what diameter do I get? 1mm or 2 mm. SS I can form myself (hopefully?)

And if any one wants to suggest another rba and has some tricks and tips to contribute, please do so!

I cant say I am an RBA using expert, but I just got my aga t2 and had it set up with (gasp) a silica wick in about 5 min. Has to be the easiest one for me yet. Bear in mind however my only rba/rda experience is a bream bt804 POS and an igo-s.... I will say tho I went a little overboard on my first coil roll for it, it came out at 4.8 ohms on my evic -.-

I think the thing that makes it easy for me is its HUGE with lotsa room for a large fingered oaf like myself

Geneses is the original maker of the AGA-T2? Others are just knock offs using the same exact neame, for example I see this: Youde UD AGA-T2 pyrex glass tank rebuildable atomizer. This is what I've been using recently, picked it up during a black friday sale. I currently have it set up with a single coil and an organic cotton wick and it works quite well I'm not a huge fan of the small wick hole or the screw downs on the center pin but they're manageable.
