AG-126 charger problems?

Hi, I have a AG-126 charger and the led light stays on red even when there's not battery charging. Is it time for a new charger? Of is this fixable?

If the electronics in the charger aren't performing properly, buy a new one.
Much cheaper than burning down your house!!
