Achieving correct resistance?

So I'm wanting to make 0.5 ohm coils. Is there a rough guideline or calculator on what gauge, number of wraps and resistance of wire I should use to achieve this?

This site has some good calculators. Click on 'Coil Wrapping' at the top for their calculator. I checked a couple of my regular builds that I know well and they got them correct.

Thanks for the info. On a standard rda with 3 posts, would the coils be parallel or serial for a dual coil setup?

Parallel. You make two identical coils. If they are each 2 ohm coils, 2 in parallel will meter 1 ohm which is what the battery will see and what you would fill in for 'Target Resistance'. The 'Coil Resistance' in the output is for each coil.
