510 battery blinking problems

Hey everyone! I live in Michigan and quit tobacco about 10y ago!!!

I have a problem with my Kanger 510 battery blinking.
It is brand new.
and when plugged in ~~the charger is green, the battery is green.

It has done the 5 quick compressions to lock and unlock with no problems.

Q

When not attached to a tank, button pressed just lites white
as it should when a tank would be attached.

I put a tank on and it blinks 3 times.
I'm not sure why.
I tried to compress quick 3x in response and it made no difference and continues to blink 3x when I press.
I changed the tank, coil, juice, and all I get is 3x blink.

..and dead draw. Help????

Hi Becky,

i am still not sure exactly what device you are talking about. I suspect though it is a Kanger Evod type battery.

If it flashes 3 times it means atomizer short or bad connection.

First thing I would try is pulling the pin in the centre of the 510 connection up a little using a small screwdriver. With this type of batteries the 510 pin has the propensity to get pushed down too far, if you screw your clearo on too tight.

If that doesn't help try changing the coil or the whole clearo, depending on what you use.
