I had tried all the tricks to cleaning attys and such, but always ended up having to buy more. I have been vaping for about two years now. It had gotten so that i had about a dozen attys, that either didn't work so well anymore or didn't work at all.

I think I have found the perfect cleaning for me. All of my attys now work as good as new.

I bought a jewelry cleaner from Brookstone a few years ago (the kind that vibrates). I never kept enough jewelry to make it useful so it stayed on the shelf. Then I got a retainer (for teeth grinding), it's great for cleaning that, then I thought that maybe my attys aren't getting clean enough to continue their use, while doing another alcohol soak.

So after trying the alcohol method for the umteenth time, i thought maybe I should drop them in the jewelry cleaner machine. Took the bowl of alcohol that I had my attys soaking in and dumped them into the cleaning machine and let it run for a minute.

When I poured the contents back into the bowl, it looked like they were now soaking in tea. It had gotten them that clean. When I looked into the atty, they looked as clean as if they came straight from the factory. They also worked like brand new!

Just thought I would share my tip, since none of the others I have seen here have worked as well or as consistently as this method I stumbled upon.

Sad part is about a month earlier I had thrown away about 8 attys that i couldn't get to work. :(

Only problem is that some are so old that the paint is peeling off of them (exacerbated by the alcohol soaks), but they work.

I just got some e-go T tanks, so it will be interesting to see if it works as well when they need cleaning.

Cheers.

Yes, ultrasonic works for cleaning atty's. Not sure if it's better than other methods, but it's very easy !

They also work great for cleaning electric shaver heads! No taking them apart and trying to brush everything out.
Just pop the head in the cleaner with some hot water and soap. ( The cleaner works with its top open, so the rest of the shaver doesn't go in the cleaner.)

Last time i did a cleaning ( i usually put attys aside after about a week or 10 days if they haven't died by then ) i used the w.vinegar baking soda trick... it was quite good as far as getting them looking good.
There may be a little taste issue, but nothing substantial.

but in my mind the attys seemed to be fated to die anyway... i use them and they were dead in a week... but maybe it's because i am hard on my attys... chain vaper here.

I prefer 901's (dse) regulars... do these have a penchant for short life anyway???

I generally vape pretty mellow flavors. I think the exceptions would be BWB Menthol Tobacco and Ave Boba's Bounty - but even still, when putting a different juice in I can slightly taste the older juice but it goes away after 2-3 more re-drips :)

I was recommended by Doctor vapor who has been vaping for years not to clean attys they die sooner if u do just simply blow the liquid out of atty from time to time DoctorVapor
Re: cleaning attys
Here is my method of cleaning attys. I don't. I've found that cleaning them causes them to die a lot quicker. I just use them till they break, and when I change flavors, I simply vape through the old flavor till the new one becomes dominant.

yep, it's fine to blow the juice out. That won't hurt anything.

I'm a moderate vaper (around 2 ml a day). I still have all my 901's after months of use. They did have a tendency to gunk up after a few days use when I was using the standard voltage (@3.2). But since I started using them at a higher voltage (@4.2) they've come back to life. You might try using them on a 5v passthru if you have one.

I do; i start out at 3.8 or so, then move up as I go along (Provari)... maybe the amount of juice I vape equivelates to yours (2ml:10ml)
