Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that Perfect vape is in the taste buds of the vaper. Finding that vape is the Holy Grail of everyone on these forums and as you adjust your voltages (and or wattage if available) on certain juices it brings out subtle changes not only in heat of the vape, but different favor blends if they are in the mix.

Ok, so you have found a so-so juice that happens to be better than the others that you have tried.

Finding a so-called "all day vape" is over-rated in my opinion, but I think I understand the real issue here. You've only tried a few flavors so far, and possibly only from one juice vendor. The eGo Twist is a proven beginner variable voltage battery, so I don't think your disappointment should be focused on the battery device. Perhaps it is the juice, or even the juice delivery device you are using on the Twist.

Finding a couple of good juice flavors can be as important as finding the right gear to vape it on. Most of us have experiemented with multiple flavors from multiple juice vendors before we found ONE FLAVOR we didn't mind using all day. It's unfortunate but true. Taste in e-liquid flavors is extremely subjective. What one person likes, another person might find revolting, and vice versa.

The best way to find good flavors is to find vendors that offer "sampler packs". These are smaller bottles of flavors grouped in a 2 or 4 pack package to trial their juice in hopes that you will find some that you like and will return your business with buying again in a larger size bottle. This allows you to sample many flavors at a reduced cost; you won't be spending (and possibly wasting) a lot of money on a large bottle of juice you may not like.

Read the juice sub-forum here to get some ideas on flavors you might like to try, and vendors that offer a variety of flavors to choose from. Some names come up quite often, so pull up their website and see if they offer something that you would like to try. Finding an all day vape can be elusive for some people. It is not uncommon to go through 20 flavors and find only 2 or 3 that you like. It is very hit or miss.

What type of delivery device you use can also affect how much satisfaction you get from your vape. Each type of device is constructed a little differently to provide a different vaping experience. Everyone ends up preferring one type over another, but you won't know which one you prefer until you've tried 2 or 3 out to compare them.

I've put together a type of picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices available for new vapors in the below link. It gives a brief description, shows a picture of what it looks like, and has a video of its use:

I agree with the "all day vape" being over rated too, and not really the best idea for everyone to 'chase'. But anyway back to the OP.

Yes, changing you voltage will produce a warmer vape and by doing that be part of what gives you more vapor. Voltage is not the only part of good vapor production. You probably know that VG tends to produce more vapor then PG in e-liquids so you might want to consider not using 100% PG juice but a mix of PG/VG which usually come in mixtures anywhere from 20% VG / 80% Pg to 80% VG/ 20% VG (once you get into the higher concentrations of VG - over 50/50% you are probably looking at custom makers or DIY).

Your delivery device - the atomizer/clearomizer/cartomizer ohms (resistance) have a definite effect as do the number of coils, bottom or top, type of wicking. Not everyone agrees on what they get the most vapor from when it comes to the delivery device but you can get some good ideas from what people talk about and reviews on the various different ones. And expensive does not always means best. And some can help cool down a vape, while others can make it warmer or make it more airy or feel less airy and so on. There are differing options even on whether dripping vs using a supply source can make a difference.

Then, even how you go through the mechanical action of vaping. One person can have their set up and be producing clouds of vapor and someone else use it and have a lot less luck.

Basically all this means is that the act of turning the ego twist knob is not equal to low to high vapor production. Of course the higher the voltage the more vape would be produced if all given were equal but they are not. You don't say whether you are using a cartomizer or a clearomizer, or a dual coil or single coil, the ohms of the device what brand/type or if you are dripping on an atomizer and which one, if you are, you are using. Since all of these play a part if your using ones that don't do much for vapor production then changing the voltage won't have much effect more then temperature.

I am also not a big fan of the ego twist since it has a limited range of voltage compared to other VV batteries on the market and the ones with the digital output give you a much clearer knowledge of the voltage you are using which directly effects the ohms inthe atomizer and so on.

From what you did say it sounds like you set up for delivering your vape is pretty lackluster and not a combination that gives good vapor production and i suspect your are using a juice with 100% PG in it. Given that once you apply power to the coil and then step up the voltage it is making the coil warmer to aid in better vapor production given how well the deliver system does its job.

You might want to ask people what they are using with the Ego Twist that is giving them high vapor production; look at some of the setups reviewers and other bloggers use on you tube (where they will vape for you and you can see the vapor produced).

And you don't have to go crazy changing everything at once, or even spending huge amounts of money because expensive does not always mean its the only best on the market (some cheaper ones can be just as good). Get some recommendations from people on what things they used or changed for to get better vapor and then pick one thing, try it and see if your results improve. Then try changing other things.

Also help to let people know what kind of atomizer/clearo/carto you currently use, if your cleaning or replacing it regularly (if it gets dirty or glunked up you can lose a lot of vapor production and just get heat), what juice you use (PG/VG mix if you are or just PG - brand etc) and get recommendations from them.

Be prepared to get a wide range of what people had used or done to get the vapor output they want but all the information you get can help you decide what to try and change.
