I m using the atlantis v2 with the 0.3 coil on a eleaf ipower mod 80w 5000mAh, what wattage is recommended and safe? (i'm new to this)

Hi JoySkeet. Welcome to the ECF.

Why don't you try starting at a Low Wattage, say 10 Watts, and then move the Wattage up about 5 Watts at a time until you find what you like?

I read multiple topics saying that the 0.3 should be used at 60-80 watts (too hot) , i'm currently using 40-45 , is this gonna burn the coil faster or damage anything?

There really Isn't any Should or Shouldn't when it comes to what Wattage to use. Because so much depends on the Type of e-Liquid one uses, Amount of Airflow, and of course what type of Hit one Likes.

As a General Rule, lower wattages will make a Coil Last Longer. But I think someone should just use what they Like the Best.

If 40 ~ 45 Watts is what works Best for you and your e-Liquids, that is what I would suggest you use. I might like 20 Watts with that same Set-Up. And the Next Person may like it best at 60 Watts.

I could not agree more. For a while, I chased everyone else's recommendations. Low ohm's were coming into vogue and I chased those. Finally, I ended up with stainless at 1.8 Ohm on a mechanical REO, I have not looked back. You might find that intolerable.
