Edit Update: svoemesto has released their new rta and it is called the kayfun Mini V3

This is a new thread dedicated to the authentic Svoemesto Kayfun Version 5 that is being established in advance of the official release date (which is currently unknown other than "soon"). It should be stated that we do not know the name of this device so the name "Kayfun" could be entirely wrong. If and when we find the correct name I will try to have the name in the thread title changed accordingly.

Until then, let the slobbering begin!

Let me guess it will have 190 different parts.....

Because when i want to vape i need that level of fiddling and frustration

Please also charge me an exhorbitant amount for the privilege of this fiddling and jigsaw puzzle building

Chances of an easy to use and actually affordable Kayfun?

Here is my guess;

1. Changeable decks like a Squape Rs although I believe they will have its own distinct SM personality.

2. The ability to use ready made disposable coil/cotton coils like Aspire coils, similar to a Kabuki, but with sub ohm capability.

3. Top fill (has already been confirmed),

4. P3 connector

5. Convertible from mini juice capacity to 5ml +

6. Externally accessible Airflow adjustment

7. Congestion ring will go and be incorporated into the chimney

8. Juice flow control will go and hole size slightly increased

:D

My feeling is that it will do everything the very best do, but all in one convertible kit/unit.

Im being a little facetious as the Kayfun already has more parts than any other tank, and i actually assume, for the little known about the new one, that it will actually have far less for a change...hopefully

And hopefully i wont have to save for 2 years to buy one, like the previous ones....not that i ever got near buying one :)

SM and Kayfun are the tank equivalent of the shiny tube mods, priced to what people will pay and made of unobtainium so people who own one can hold that over the rest of the vaping community, not what they actually cost. Be nice if they broke from script with this new one. I aint holding my breath though

Im happy to pay for quality, in fact you'll find posts by me saying i feel we should be paying more for the current round of box mods - like $79 for a 75W box mod, when i paid $90 10 months ago for a 30w mod - id rather a bit more for better built quality (not JoyeTech), but theres a limit and SM are at the other and extreme end of that scale.

It's not about paying for the quality. Its about a topic that started getting covered in 300 level economics. As production has become more efficient why is the single wager earner less able to support a family when working in a grocery store was once good enough to buy a house and raise a family? There are several reasons and some are caused by secondary effect. Often times the things we think of as savings long run does the opposite. I want the creators of things get direct benefits and possibly become employers themselves. Development takes time and energy, when we have others without compensating the creators we create one of the problems that long run makes us all poorer via secondary effect.

People who create things cannot build the capital to get efficient production going and cloning actually increases the cost that creators would normally have to charge since fewer units have to pay for development costs and one of the biggest costs is time. I don't have any interest in impressing the vaping community. I don't know a single person that vapes in real life and I don't know the people out here. I am concerned about simple micro and macro economic forces that make us worse off when it looks like it is making us better off and I also don't want to slow progress on design.

I am glad I am not talking about an American product or people would think I am just favoring my own nation. I would also want a product from Australia to create enough capital for them to finance sufficient production levels.

It used to be that the first products would be high prices and those that chose to buy first made it cheaper for those that bought second and helped recoup setup, development, and initial production costs. That is turned on it's head now.

I will be honest and tell you that I am not a big fan of Russia but my concern about secondary effects in economics over rides my personal feelings about Russia.
